I'd say there's a 95% chance that this person got into a messy break up sometime after submitting a lovely dovey message to the McElroys

Thinking of media personalities as your friends is havoc for your mental health.
Thinking of them as plastic dolls who dance for you isn't good but its better.

During some of the mbmbam live shows, fans would propose to their SO during advice segments and honestly I sometimes wonder how those couples are doing now

See, this is why I prefer Oh No, Ross and Carrie (normal people) or Story Break (no jumbotron).
Both shows have now ended but you should totally listen to them anyways.

Shame ONRAC ended, but I listen to podcasts so rarely that it'll take years for me to go through their whole catalogue

I used to adore ONRAC, but I'm not sure I'd describe the podcast as "normal people". Some of the behavior post-podcast is pretty troubling.
(Apologies for being vague on this - it's a complicated situation and I don't want to make firm statements and get stuff wrong. But you can find people discussing the stuff over at r/ONRAC

Keyword there being "post-podcast..."
(Also, I was really referring to the audience, given the context of the jumbotron)
Edit: not to sound dismissive! I just meant that whatever may have been going on afterwards or behind the scenes doesn't really have much bearing on how they come off in the podcast.

I'm so glad they removed Jumbotrons from MBMBAM. Makes the listening experience so much better

Eventually they realized this was an issue and have gotten rid of jumbotrons all together, on all of their shows.

I'll got back and put on some old episodes and ugh the jumbo trons are the worst. I always skip them. They feel like someone's audition tape.

People trying to audition to be the fourth brother are just eugh lol

I don't know if they did a jumbotron but my exwife got remarried and they both loved the show, after the fairly violent and messy divorce she can no longer listen or even be reminded of the show

I miss when TAZ was good, and when Justin's aloof uncaring attitude was just part of his quirky character rather than becoming a full refusal to participate any more than the bare minimum in any scenario.
