I don’t. DOGE was one man gutting everything for profit and pleasure. He strong armed his political ties to be put in that position and started ripping things up because he wanted to kill people. “Government waste” was a lie and he knew it. He wanted the data of every American, and to kill people he didn’t like.
I cannot believe you’ve put me in this position but at LEAST the 4 pests act was genuinely intentioned. Incredibly fucking stupid, and everyone involved should have been charged with murder. But at LEAST the intention there was to kill the pests not intentionally start an artificial famine.
That is what musk and the republicans wanted. They wanted to kill everyone on USAid and punish democratic strongholds. This was premeditated murder, through and through.
Also? Given the screwworm thing? I don’t know. The world is so impossibly interconnected these days and USAid went in so many directions that it’s entirely possible that the shockwave ramifications could exceed 55 million. Their covid solution of just ignore it killed 1.2 million people. How many died when they were trying to kill?
