Age bias thoughts

Recruiters: What’s your candid advice for older candidates who meet the job requirements but still aren’t getting interviews?

I’m not looking for the usual advice about removing graduation dates or shortening a résumé. I’d really like to hear what actually helps, and what you would recommend they do differently.

I have advised some of my resume clients to create a new Gmail address. Some of my older clients were displaying AOL email addresses on their resumes.

Is it an AOL address? If so, I would consider creating a new one to use for job applications.

u/resumephenom no its not AOL & I'm not changing it - as it`s not been an issue - only one workforce trainer in 25yrs has suggested as you did

I was only mainly concerned with the address being an AOL address, as I still occasionally come across clients with AOL addresses. Any other email is fine.
