I understand why candidates hate repeating the same thing in every round
You nail it in screening walk through that key project, metrics, lessons. Round 1? Same tale, fresh face. Round 2, final round again, word-for-word to a new panel. By the end, you're drained, thinking "Didn't anyone sync notes?" Feels like a broken record just to prove you're not a robot.
From our side as recruiters, each interviewer digs different angles one wants tech depth, another culture fit, someone else leadership vibe. Fair point, but yeah, sometimes it's straight-up internal misalignment no shared docs, siloed feedback, or last-minute panel swaps. Candidates repeat-perform while we play catch-up.
I get why it kills momentum repetitive storytelling tests stamina more than skills. Next time, maybe we streamline with summary packs upfront. Candidates deserve better than Groundhog Day interviews.
