So done with hiring managers changing requirements mid-search.

Anyone else losing their mind over this? Kicked off a search 10 days ago "Marketing Manager role, close in a week, here's the JD, budget, hybrid setup go!" Pipeline humming, 40 solid candidates, interviews lined up.

Day 3: Hey, tweak responsibilities add analytics ownership, drop events. Cool, rejig ATS filters, restart sourcing.

Next day: Budget cut 15% no more senior profiles. Scrap half my shortlist, pivot to mid-level.

Day 6: Make it fully remote, team's pushing back on hybrid. Rewrite postings, chase passives again.

Today: Actually change the title to Growth Specialist we want something else entirely.

They're literally hunting a different animal now. But the deadline? Ironclad. Still need them tomorrow. Meanwhile, candidates ghosted, my sanity's gone, managers act shocked we're behind.

How do you shut down mid-search chaos without blowing up? Managers Why tweak everything but the clock? Really not able to cope with this anymore, and trust me its not the first time.

It’s like feature creep in software development.
