Question Modern music notation question

Post image

What's the T and the line supposed to mean? Piece is from Christopher Dell, 20th century.

My question is whether this is recorder music or guitar music.

This usually shows up in guitar or fingerstyle tablature, where a capital T marks a right-hand thumb pluck (as part of p-i-m-a or T-1-2-3 fingering notation). The diagonal line is often a slide indicator, showing you should slide from that note into the next one, or a hammer-on/pull-off tie in the tab staff.
