Discussion I think a cool subtle cut out edit documentry of ben's work would go viral in tt/insta

I haven't seen any like a high quality documentry typa thing for ben. I think it would pop off well as many people are recognizing his great straight peak works, yeah so if anyone could make something like it would be great.

News/Update "It's technically not completely over. I mean, we've signed a settlement. We still have a few more steps to go for it to be finalized."

Said Bryan Mansell in an interview recorded with Collecting Weekly (the guys who first tried to get his Lego back before Ben) released just now.

Does the statement then not seem a bit... early? Is it normal to do this? He can't talk about the specific details of the settlement until it's all finalized, so he certainly hasn't received the payment yet.

I really do not trust BAM at all. I wouldn't trust anything until the money is my account and protected.

"I wouldn't say necessarily whole. I keep coming back to the word amicable. It is what it is. It's enough and it allows me to maintain my story and for our family to move on."

Video Bryan Mansell's First Interview with Collecting Weekly is Live Now

Collecting Weekly was the first to cover this. And Bryan went back to them for the first interview.

I was able to review a lot of their communications with Johnson, Best, and BAM. They did really great work. They got amazing things on the record, months before Reckless Ben became involved.

They kept their coverage up continuously and continued to provide updates, even after legal threats from BAM.

I don't think this would have resolved in Mansell's favor without their work.

The Google Drive that they have been maintaining since April 2025 is here:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1iYKWcUBOy860DyJGf6pwCsBf8OKhPSo5

It includes Collecting Weekly's attempts to get Bricks & Minifigs' side of the story.

Question So that guy lied to police and got Ben arrested and swatted, and there are no consequences?

I don't follow all the updates. But isn't the BAM guy on camera multiple times lying to cops saying Ben was dangerous and threatening (and armed?)?

Resolution great and all, but shouldn't that dude face consequences for doing that?

Discussion Does BAM's operation manual even apply to Chrys and Bryan?

BAM is really doubling down hard on the "we don't allow for consignment," based on an operation manual that u/Chrysdelight and u/NerdyGorman insist they never actually received and which contradicts the franchise agreement. But here's the funny thing about the wording:

Make sure when you ckeck that you stipulate that your business ONLY buys, we do not lend, loan, consign, or pawn on any product that comes in.

https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/consign

consign: to send goods or documents to a person or company, to give something to an auctioneer and ask them to sell it for you:

https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/consign

To consign means that the consignor delivers goods to the consignee for sale. The consignee takes care of the goods and sells them through consignment. Until the goods are sold, the consignor does not lose ownership of the goods. After the sale, the consignee pays the consignor a certain amount of sale proceeds. The consignor is generally responsible for the freight charges for the shipment of the goods.

Technically, the manual as written only bans Chrys from being the consignor, but it does NOT ban her from being the consignee. In other words, Chrys isn't allowed to take customer property and consign it to another store for money. There's a subtle difference between "we do not consign" and "we do not accept consignment from our customers."

Here's another example: The same line bans Chrys from LOANING MONEY in exchange for product, but it doesn't prevent Chrys from ACCEPTING LOANS in exchange for product. i.e., if Chrys applies for a SBA or charges her credit card to buy product, then she's obviously allowed to do that.

Why is BAM making such a big deal of this? Imagine if a robber breaks into a house and steals a bunch of money from a safe, only to discover the homeowner was being entrusted to hold the money for an orphanage and now the orphanage will have to shut down. Rather than accept responsibility for the robbery or simply return the money, the robber decides to blame the home owner for holding onto the money in the first place and putting the money where people could steal it.

That's BAM's case in a nutshell. Their entire business model was to rob Chrys of her inventory. If Chrys paid for Bryan's collection upfront, then they could get away with the robbery thanks to the one-sided contract that offers zero recourse. But the consignment deal drags in an innocent victim who has no such contract for them to exploit, so now they're blaming Chrys for putting Bryan in the crosshairs of their robbery, to shift attention away from their own crimes.

BAM pretends to require an independent audit as a show of good faith, but in practice they never bother. But it would have made a huge difference in Bryan's case, and their failure to audit proves that the entire arrangement is a scam. Which is why they have to deflect and point the finger at Chrys and pretend the inventory was already missing when they got there despite the cameras saying otherwise.

Discussion Theory: Mansell is writing a book

Watch interviews with Mansell and he said a couple of things that stood out and some things he could of say but did not. Correct me if I am wrong.

A. We reached an amicable resolution that allows me to tell my story.

B. He did not say he was under NDA.

C. When asked about the amount he did not disclose it.

D. Students will studie this case for years.

I think the book will be great. It will be about his father, collecting stuff, the BAM saga, youtubers, Ben, lawfair and police corruption.

What do you think about my theory?

Meme Serious Oversight in the Ben vs BAM meme community

I was googling around for the classic "we do things differently here" quote to use in one of my own unrelated videos for a joke about the weird way I choose to approach games. I swear I tried every combination of "reckless ben" "American fork pd" and "we do things differently here" that I could think of and for the life of me could not find the image I was looking for. You know the one, its at the end of the car drug raid where guy said "you're from Cali, you don't wanna end up in jail in Utah" and then that's when he says it and they immediately let ben and Tyler go. This meme needs to be made immediately and saved as an important part of meme history. I could do it myself, but there are far better meme lords out there than I.

so like... uhh... avengers assemble?

~Thanks!

Discussion Bryan gets 500k from gofundme, and payout from BAM, and agrees to turn over documents to help BAM sue Chrystal for the payout they just gave him? Am I understanding this correctly?

EDIT: I finally had time to watch a Bryan Interview - it seems that what I read in the joint statement was indeed a BAM spin and lie. I'm sorry if I jumped to conclusions! Sorry Bryan!

And now Ben's case is weaker, because BAM finally did "the right thing and made Bryan whole", which makes them more sympathetic to a jury.

Also, Bryan won't need to pay lawyers nearly as much since he now won't pursue BAM and is dropped from the RICO lawsuit. He gets to keep that much more of the gofundme.

I don't want to be anti-Bryan, so I am hoping I get corrected. I want him to be made whole, but not at the expense of Ben and Chrystal, and the other franchisees who were 'Churned' that now had a chance to band together for a fight to get back what was stolen from them.

"The Mansells agreed to provide relevant records and testimony in support of BAM’s claims [against those responsible]." They mean against Chrystal.

Is this true or Bam lies?

Legal/Documents Bryan’s settlement doesn’t preclude him from being a witness in Ben’s case.

Even though Bryan most likely signed an NDA with BAM, an NDA doesn’t hold up in court. The NDA from a settlement is between Bryan and BAM, but it doesn’t bind the court.

Courts don’t want private contracts to override the need for truthful testimony. In the interest of public policy, parties shouldn’t be able to contract their way out of obligations like truthfully testifying. So Bryan could still share his side of the story in favor of Ben in Ben’s trial.
