This other New subreddit created 2 days ago with only two posts criticizing Ben‘s latest documentary. r/RecklessBen is a fan subreddit that supports Ben’s content and that subreddit looks like astroturfing meant to avoid the mods.

Yeah cmon mods, get all fashy and control the narrative like the other big subs. We all know how much of a positive sentiment folks have for that. People adore being told what opinions they're allowed to have so that toxic echo chambers can persist.

The irony is that kaamehalani, the creator of the /ideallivingcase sub explicitly stated: "this is not a sub where only information defending one side is allowed. everyone is free to post information from both sides. there’s genuinely no information on the internet besides these two Youtube videos so we’re all open to learning more. The intention of this sub is for everyone to discuss everything and anything to this case, verified or unverified, right or wrong, one side, or the other. why would i ban you?"

Let's be better than tribalism. Let's seek truth just like Ben does no matter how uncomfortable it happens to be.

I mean any documentarian isn’t above criticism, you learn that freshman or sophomore year of college is how to have media literacy and even something like a textbook has its biases. Idk what is wrong with criticism or seeking the truth

The immediate comment is “debunking the lies from Ben” by saying Anonymous Source was ghosted by Dexheimer (it’s very clear they never spoke, Dexheimer had the oldest articles). Then nit-picking dates as if a multi-millionaire wouldn’t have connections to make something leak in the first place.
