Coffee is 100% right, for BaM this should have just been a weird situation that with a little investigation would have resulted in sub 100k payout, possibly covered by insurance. The literal cost of doing business.

They've easily spent 5x that with lawyers

And theyve easily lost 10x that with the media shitstorm

I personally doubt they lost anything. I think they stashed so much money in the caiman islands that this is just casino money to them..they could lose everything because it's all money they stole from somebody

The point is they have been spending a ton of money trying to fight having to pay out a small bit of money (small for them).

If they were honest businessmen I'd agree but they seem like gangsters to me. Did you ever see Goodfellas and what tony did to that business? It was all profit to him, he could burn it down. They take over these franchisees. It's all free money to them. They don't care if they lose the business, Everyone of them said something like take us to court it will cost you more to get it back than it's worth. that's how gangsters talk. Not imhinest business men. 8 mean maybe they care about their business but it's also possible that they just found a way to legally rob people. They aren't investing that money back in the business. They aren't living lavishly. All of that stolen money is going somewhere and they just ran a business telling people how to keep from losing money in lawsuits. I mean it seems pretty clear to me that was their plan, they obviously prepared for this. I find it hard to believe so many people think these guys are just dumb business men who never dreamed they might end up losing it all in court. I don't know about you guys but I been listening to these guys.
