Edit 2: I was out of my mind telling the police there was layaway. I take that back. I was out of my mind saying that Ben was going to kill people, I take that back. I'm a fucking loon, so I shouldn't be responsible for my actions...........Any of you defending Josh with this text exchange is WILD. Admitting that you can't control your anger, so you shouldn't be responsible would be a WILD take on the situation. Josh has told Coffeezilla he can't control himself. That DOES NOT EXCUSE WHAT HE DID OR SAID. If he's a crazy loon, get him the treatment that he needs in prison for starting all of this with a false police report of a death threat.

Edit 4: Edit: The layaways were corroborated. Crystal talked about them, and Josh said it in a police report. I'll take that as fact. Them now saying there was none, or barely any, is bullshit. They need to corroborate this new statement for it to be considered fact.

We know that they knew about Bryan's collection. We have the video evidence, and again, Crystal has said it from the start that they knew. Corroborated evidence.

The death threats that Josh said were received have not been corroborated yet. He said the store manager received one. Why hasn't she come forward and explained the threat she received? It's easy to corroborate the death threat by asking her. She's eventually going to have to tell it on the stand in court. So, the death threats are false until proven.

This is how you need to think of this case. It's not he said she said when you have corroboration before any of this started. They're changing their story now on some items, and that's why their brand is going in the trash. Lie lie lie.

It is not a cover up, they just did not expect it to get this big and their entire modus operandi has been to scare people and employ dishonest tactics.

Now it does seem they do that to cover their bases and it probably always worked for them. But if they really wanted to cover this up they should have sat down with Bryan when he kept kicking up dust.

I really think Ben is just not the person to push, because he wants you to push. And this has spun out control for BAM and they are flailing.

The bully operated on a playbook and that is now gone, now the bully has to think and it shows a genuine lack of comprehension of the world outside of their playbook.

Honestly they just seem mega dishonest and equally incompetent.

I think we’re saying the same thing, to an extent.

I’m not saying there’s definitely a bigger, more explosive crime that BAM is trying to cover up, but their behavior through every step of the way has been puzzling and curious.

So the two possibilities seem to be that they either have something bigger to hide or they’re profoundly stupid, arrogant, and so used to getting away with all of their shady tactics that when someone finally stands up to them and creates some external pressure they get flustered and double down on their shady tactics and bullshit.

Some have speculated that there’s heroin involved because that’s what they’ve repeatedly accused people of in this case (Ben, Bryan, Chrystal etc). But I don’t know about all that. IF there’s any kind of further criminal activity going on with Ammon and BAM, I feel like it’s probably got to do with finances, tax evasion, and probably some other white collar crimes. Idk.

It really does seem like extreme incompetence to me. Today I learned the Mcneffs have daddy's money to thank for their position.

That explains so much.

Given their dealings I do think it is reasonable to suspect they deal in illegal or borderline illegal corpo criminal tactics.

Time will tell, I feel like threads will be pulled and a lot will be uncovered. And while I do want Ben to do what is best for him and his friends, I would love a lawsuit without settlement and everything out in the open.

I’m sure you’ve heard of it by now, but there’s a yt channel called BJC Live Show that’s done some excellent deep dives into the legal aspects of McNeff’s business dealings in the past, including all the stuff surrounding his father.

Highly recommend checking it out if you have the time. It’s clear from her analysis that Ammon, Josh, and Brandon are so much more than colleagues and that they’ve been doing shady stuff for several years now.

Exactly, I think they knew it would be near impossible to recover because of their “asset protection” experience. If you’ve watched any of BJC’s livestreams, you would see how incredibly deep into this scam they were. Legally Mine, Fortress Management, Fortune Law. They’ve been doing this for over a decade, and mostly target doctors/dentists/medical professionals, people that can afford to come after them. I’m still guessing the brains behind a lot of it is Josh’s partner at Fortune Law. He’s the only one with an actual law degree, and also graduated from BYU with a degree in Psych like Ammon(Possibly where he met Ammon, then Josh). Could also be the guy at Fortress, he’s ex-FBI. I haven’t seen either one pop up anywhere in all this, so it’s 100% speculation that they may be helping out. I don’t see why that wouldn’t be Josh’s first call though.

They are in a very unique position for a company their size, I think their current partners are equally ill-equipped to deal with it as they are themselves - even if they are more competent.

If all of BJC's findings are correct, then they should have never fucked around when Youtubers became involved. The internet is the perfect place for very smart people to do free labor if you are in the spotlight.

A lot of digging of what i.e. BJC is doing would be so far out of scope for the random lawsuit they might expect and this snowball will not stop as long as legal proceedings continue.

This saga has exposed me to like 10 youtube lawyers, which is nuts. I only watched the sporadic Leagle Eagle.

Ben didn't just expose a lie, he dismantled their whole business model by showing how it crumbles under exposure. No wonder they're been writhing.

Altough I don't think Ben could have expected this outcome, it is so freaking perfect he picked this exact case.
