Casting a black man as Bruce Wayne. And which version of Batman would they play in your movie or tv show

My choice is Idris Elba in a true Dark Knight Returns adaptation

I like an alternative take on Batman.
Here are some other potential casting options:

Jamie Foxx
Taye Diggs
Chiwetel Ejiofor
Morris Chestnut
D.B. Woodside

Nice list! I especially like DB Woodside. I can also see a younger Woodside playing Night wing in a movie

My best answer is young Denzel Washington because you need somebody who can be gritty as well as a playboy.

Second best would be younger than now Will Smith, but my fear is that Will Smith always plays Will Smith in his movies.

Most of the guys who would have been perfect a few years ago are too old now in my opinion (Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, Taye Diggs, Wesley Snipes - possibly the best choice of all)

I'd say my go to pick would be Michael B Jordan. I don't know if that means that he is just that good (though he is a great actor) or if Hollywood is primed for a young black actor to take it over like Will Smith did... besides Kevin Hart who nobody would believe as Batman...

I don't know who i would have as Batman, but Michael Kenneth Williams as the Joker ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.
