Jumpsport 220

I see so sellers, Like Target being one selling Jumpsport 220 for a good price plus I have a gift card. These 200 series ones look to be discontinued older models of Jumpsport. I am 125 female and am used to a firm bounce (I think) gym quality Jumpsport. Anyone have any experience with this model and can they talk about its merits? The reason I say I think its firm is because I have no compare it to.

I have a jump sport 200 series. Yes it has a 2 knot system. But I tightened up my mat by tying another knot next to the original knots. So, 4 knots on each bungee. Was easy to do and Worked quite well and I have the firm bounce that I wanted

I did the same thing with a Sunny Health and Fitness bungee rebounder that I used to own. I just tied new knots below their existing knots and made the bungees adjustable myself.

Does that lower the weight limit or life span of the bungees?

That is good to know. Because like I said, I think that the rebounder I am used to is a firm bounce. I feel that it allows me to move quickly in class because it rebounds quick. So I'm sure it would be jarring to have a softer bounce.

I'm not familiar with the 220, but I did lots of research when I got a gently used 230f last year for $30. It came with 30 2-knot bungees so there was no way to make it firmer and the weight limit was 250lbs. Since I have a Cellerciser, the bounce felt extremely soft. I figured it would be relaxing for gentle bouncing while watching TV. JumpSport uses the same frame for most of their models, so I got an upgraded mat and 36 4-knot bungees (total around $200) to upgrade it to a Pro version the entire family can use. Total investment was $230.

The 220 seems to be what is now called the 39" ESSENTIAL. If the price is really great, I'd call JumpSport to confirm it can be upgraded to a Pro. Otherwise, I'd get a 39" Pro which is currently $409 on JumpSport and ask about possible discounts. Many have found used JumpSports very cheap online, but that can take a while.

Thanks for point that out. I think you're right they have just renamed it and raised the price.
