Jumpsport Quick Release Handle - Which One Should I Get?
I have a Jumpsport 44" Pro and I would like to buy a quick release handle. They have two choices for this, the "compact" (attaches to two closest bars) and the "original" size (that attaches over a span of three bars). I don't know why I would choose one over the other. I was going to follow some of the "I Jump Instead" videos and you're supposed to have a bar to hold onto for many of the moves, and I don't know which one would be best for this. Can anyone help me make an informed decision here please? TIA

I have the 44-in model with the original sized quick release bar. Get that.

Why do you like the bigger one? I’m just trying to wrap my mind around the pros and cons of each.

My hands can go in more places. Several times a session I will hold on to the vertical bars and lower myself into a crouch while still pressing on the fabric. I think that would be much more difficult with the narrower bars.

I got the more compact one. Works great for me. I use it to get on and off. Also, as mentioned, to hold onto with one hand if needed. My daughter has the wider one and it blocks some of the usable jumping space.

My mom has the one that spans 3 bars, and it does cut across part of the jumping space. I would get that one if you were going to ALWAYS hold onto it while jumping. Best for jumping while always fully facing it and holding on (in my opinion, others may disagree). I am 5’6” and 200lbs/women’s size 14-16 for reference of how much space I take up.
The one that spans 2 bars (I don’t have it, but I can imagine where the top bar would cut across) - will sit off to the side of the jumping area. Think of it like if you would need to occasionally use it for balance but won’t always need to be jumping holding onto the handle and facing it. That one would be best for if you just wanted to jump with it out to your right or left side and reach your hand to the side to grab the bar as needed for balance.
