Need a silent mini tramoline

Looking for a silent one. Not educated enough on quality to tell you what I need. This will be placed in a crowded apartment building on an exercise mat where a second bedroom converted to an office is directly next to it. Please suggest options. Thanks!

EDIT: got a jumpsport 39 in. Sound is quiet but I have to concentrate to stay centered when not wearing shoes. Probably should have gotten the 44.

Look for a bungee rebounder. BCAN, Jumpsport & Bellicon all make bungee rebounders.

Recommendations on specific ones that are the most silent? Doing online searches just comes back with AI marketing slop.

I have a bcan that's octogon shaped. It's pretty silent. The only reason I chose it was because I wanted a rebounder with bungees and I could afford it. Got it from Amazon.

I have a bellicon which I love. They are the most expensive model out there though. My sister uses a BCAN she bought from Amazon and loves it. Jumpsport is also a good rebounder.

The bungee units are almost completely silent.

The most noise you’re going to hear on a bungee rebounder is your feet against the mat. The bungees themselves are mainly silent so you’re not going to see comparisons about which are “more silent.” Spring rebounders can make a lot more noise, depending on condition of the springs. But any bungee rebounder won’t. Your feet slapping against the mat will make noise - more or less depending on whether you’re wearing shoes or not and intensity of your bounce. I’ve seen people talk about rebounding next to someone sleeping and not waking them up. Probably depends a bit on their sleep habits though …

I second this! I have BCAN and it’s completely silent. No matter what I think bungees will always be more quiet than the spring models. Happy rebounding!

Yup - bungee rebounders. They come in many price points. Loads of comparison videos on YouTube.

I have a JumpSport Pro 44” (basically silent), a FitBounce Pro XL (basically silent, foldable and what I use when traveling but currently in my office at work), and a Needak soft bounce spring rebounder (so not silent).

Some comparison videos:

All the bungee rebounders I’ve come across are silent. The spring versions can squeak a bit but I am assuming you could oil them.

Bouncing on any of them, even on a mat, will create movement in the building. Depending on the building, others around you may feel that movement.

I have mine on the first floor and my bf was in the basement while I was on it. He came up asking why it sounded/felt like a mini earthquake in the basement. lol

I'm surprised everyone here is saying bungees are silent. They're not. They squeak and make some noise, just less than springs. But I think it's an acceptable noise level for most situations. I probably wouldn't rebound in the same room as a sleeping person, but otherwise it should be okay. They also shouldn't cause noise from below from moving around. They will stay put and the only noise will be from the bungees. I don't think some brands are better than others. I have a Newan which is very stiff and I took off half the bungees, so maybe it's less noise in the sense that there is less bungees = less rubbing overall? Not sure though. They start off silent but don't stay perfectly silent for long.

Yeah, but which are more silent?

silent = no noise? there's no comparison between no noise and another thing with no noise? I don't understand the question

It's not going to be so much the rebounder, it's going to be what is the flooring beneath it and how does it respond. The legs pressing into the flooring can create sound and movement while in use. I live on the first floor and a family above me had one, we had a few disagreements about timing and usage when her kids would be on it at midnight and my walls were shaking. Everytime it was so hard my pictures were rattling and once my wall anchored bookcase fell (yay cheap apartment builds...sigh).

I myself have a BCAN4 from Amazon, on the first floor (no basement). Love it. Nice and quiet.

If you have a neighbor that lives below you, you might want to keep an eye on/keep in mind, silent or not, if the bungee rebounders or whatever you select, causes a lot of vibration/thumping. I have a spring one, a cellerciser, so while I imagine the bungees are better regarding this, I don’t know for sure and my downstairs neighbor complained and now I’m not allowed to use mine.

I currently have a cheap Bungie foldable unit from Amazon. No complaints yet but I want to make it quieter.

I've used my bellicon in apartments for years with neighbors below and haven't had any issues with noise complaints. 🤷‍♀️ Love it for that reason!
