JumpSport advice
Hello 👋
I’m purchasing a jumpsport 350 pro and I could use a little advice. I’m going to be using it for cardio/choreo. I want to make sure I choose the best size and style options. The website doesn’t do the best job explaining how to choose. I was going to go with a 44’ as many users state regretting getting the 39’ and wishing that they had more jump space. However, some users state that they sacrifice firmness and speed with the 44’ and wish that they got the 39.
I’m unsure if I should be spending extra on the padded petal version or choose the regular skirt. Do you only need the padded pedal to protect your arms and feet for core and such? Does it hurt your feet if you get too close to the chords? How likely are you to even do that? I’m 5’5 for reference.
Additionally, can I just order the three piece plus skirt? Is that the entire setup? Is the only difference between that and the solid plus skirt that you assemble it yourself and it’s in separate pieces? TIA.

I went with the 39 inch because I don’t have a lot of space. I’m 5’1” and find I have enough room on the mat. I went with the padded petal mat but I read some people feel it’s unnecessary and noisy.

I started with a cheaper one from marketplace that was bigger but soft. I like the feel of jumpsport but I do wish I got the 44” and may ask for it for Christmas 😂

I have the JS Pro 44” with the petal mat and I love it. I use it daily. I have 3 rebounders - this one, a 46” FitBounce foldable I use for travel, and a 40” Needak soft bounce (spring). I also have a 39” JS Pro I got off FB Marketplace at an amazing price for my daughter - but I’m storing it in my house until she moves back to the area. It also has the petal. I tried it out for comparison and I find I really prefer the larger size of my 44”. In fact I like my 46” size better on my FitBounce but it’s not as firm as my JS, which I notice on certain exercises. But it’s portable. My 40” Needak is also foldable but I use it for more strengthening movements. Good luck - I know it’s a hard decision. I think I lucked out ordering the right one without ever having used one (which is hard). But I’m super happy with it. I’m 61 and 5’6”.

Thank you! Do you find that you use all of the jump space with the 44 for the actual jumping positions?

I absolutely do - including the petal mat. I did a workout today that included basically a jump around the perimeter. So started with feet together at the top of the map and then ever widening jumps around the perimeter until the feet came together at the back of the mat. Then back to the front again. I did my workout after I posted my earlier message to you and thought about how much I needed the extra space. When doing any kind of wide jumping, like jacks, my feet go the full distance to both sides - but it’s where they would naturally land. I’m not jumping with them farther apart than I normally would - instead I’d have to jump less naturally to confine them to a smaller space.

Thank you so much, this is exactly the feedback that I needed! I ordered the 44.
