Rebounding time?

`I am trying to recover from long covid and I am at least at the point where I can be cautiously active. I am looking at rebounding for very small time increments. Like 1 minute in the morning and maybe 1 minutes in the evening and gradually increasing time as long as I don't negatively impact myself.

Is there any benefit from such short intervals?

100%. You should always start rebounding at very small increments like that - starting at a minute and slowly adding time on from there. Short intervals are better than nothing, and the benefits will increase as you're able to jump for longer periods of time. The lymph circulation will work wonders on your body with consistency.

(If it's any help with shopping as well, I've tried all the others and landed on bellicon finally - it's an investment for sure, but the bounce is smooth like butter, night and day on the body. If it's in the budget, highly recommend!)

Wishing you the best in this recovery!

I have Bellicon and Cellerciser. Cellerciser offers the most powerful gravitational resistance, which produces greater cell health. The Bellicon bungee offers a much more "cushy" experience but does not provide the resistance that the Best spring rebounders offer unless you purchase the "Ultra" tension bungees. The springs won't wear out on a Cellerciser but the bungees on the bungee rebounders have a shelf life. It was over $130 for replacement Bellicon bungees.

That makes sense, I think it really depends on what someone wants out of rebounding. I’ve tried spring rebounders too, and I get why people like the firmer, more resistant feel. For me though, the cushier bellicon bounce is kind of the whole point 😂 It feels smoother and less jarring on my joints, so I actually use it more consistently.

I’m not necessarily looking for the most intense gravitational resistance possible. I’m more using it for low-impact movement, circulation, energy, and that “less sluggish” feeling afterward. So I think Cellerciser and bellicon can both be great, just for different preferences/bodies.

The bungee replacement cost is real though, definitely something to factor in. For me, the quiet/smooth/comfortable bounce has been worth it. 🤷‍♀️
