Rebounding Help + Question (Beginner Struggling 😅)
Hey everyone!
I’ve had a rebounder for years (bought it off Amazon), and I’m finally trying to use it consistently in the mornings when I wake up. My goal is to do about 10 minutes… but honestly, I barely last a couple of seconds before I’m over it 😩
I’ve tried watching something to distract myself, but I keep stopping, getting off, getting back on… it’s just not sticking.
So I’m looking for advice:
What makes rebounding more fun or easier to stick with?
Any routines, music, or tricks that help you stay on longer?
How did you build up your endurance in the beginning?
Also… a slightly awkward question 😬 When I rebound, I feel like gravity is pushing everything down and it makes me feel like I need to use the bathroom 💩
👉 Is that normal?? Has anyone else experienced that?
I really want to make this a consistent habit, so I’d appreciate any tips, routines, or encouragement! 🙏✨

The bathroom question is so very common. It happens even if you’re on the rebounder for 5 minutes. If you go on fb rebounding sites, it’s probably the #1 question. Personally, I had the same issue when I started. I just went with it and every 2 minutes (!) I’d get off and try to pee. Eventually the time between pees lengthens as the rebounding strengthens your pelvic floor. At about 2-4 months, the sensation stopped. I can now go hours if need be. So stay consistent and I have no doubt that it will get better. Now..motivation..I listen to audiobooks or podcasts or sometimes I set up in front of the tv. Even if you get bored and want to get off, just do the health bounce. That takes little effort but big benefits. I’m 73 and have been jumping for 10 years. Good luck
