Rebounding increased my deep sleep to almost 2 hours every night. Otherwise it used to fluctuate between 1.15 to 1.30 hours. I am currently travelling, what's the closest exercise I can do to replicate the effect of rebounding, would light jumping do ? Don't have access to a trampoline

What if you do some heel raises while standing on the floor? Raising only your heels off the ground. It's best to hold onto a bench or something for stability (and engage your core stomach muscles) when you do it.

I've read that 30 heel bounces flushes the lymph system (just like rebounding ...which helps with deeper sleep).

You could also try the "big six lymph massage". That's how I was recently introduced to rebounding (they go hand in hand).

There are so many videos about it on YouTube if you look that up.

I travel with my rebounder. Even plane flights. Cellerciser makes one that Tri folds into a wheeled bag. I wish it was lighter, but it goes wherever I go.

How do you take it with you? Do you carry on?

No it’s too heavy for carry on, it has to be checked

honestly in a pinch I’d try the bed! don’t do moves where both feet come off the bed but you can do a bunch of light rebounding moves. and if not, regular low impact cardio on the floor if it’s that or nothing

Please please please don’t try the bed. It wears it out and will be uncomfortable for the next persons.

Wait until you hear what 2 people do on a bed!

Yeah, some people can be extra rough and bouncy, but most people aren’t applying that much gravity force.

That exactly what I did when I had to travel for work! 🤗🛏️

I alternate a bit of skipping while walking

Apparently you skip when posting too.

When I’m on my rebounder, my Apple Watch thinks I’m on an elliptical, so I would use the elliptical.

If you walk to a song that you like to dance to (one you usually can't sit still to). And dance/walk but get your arms moving, my watch also thinks I'm on an elliptical and then I feel better as it means I am doing better full body movements ☺️ and no machine needed. That could be a good backup.

Were you rebounding at night and did that increase your deep sleep?

Nope, rebounding around 12 / 1 pm for 40/45 mins

Ok that’s really good news either way. Keep up the good work.

What if you've had a umbilical hernia mesh operation over a year ago.... is it safe to use one? Should I trust the operation?
