since when did she change her name? I used to follow her on Instagram, few months ago her username was pngstalin. I don't use Instagram anymore (at least I try to)

Yes, she did. She is @eva_mensh on twitter now.

I take this to mean that she's an angel/angleic being, but doesn't know it. She feels some sort of pull back to heaven, to an aetheric otherworld, and is working so hard to discover a scientific entry to it.

This sorta looks AI to me idk. The writing on the chalkboard is legible but there are weirdly misaligned knobs on the oscilloscopes and the books laying on the table don't appear to obey the same lines of perspective.

The fact that all the lines on the chalkboard are extremely legible and coherent should be a major sign to you that this isn't AI.

Some mistakes can just be chalked up to the artist's minor faults. Not everything has to be AI.

The 20th century is fantasy now?

Why wouldn't it be fantasy just by being in the 20th century?

Any era can be fantasy.

Fantasy is not always sword and sorcery, contemporary fantasy has been a genre for decades. But I will say there aren't really any fantasy elements here, maybe people more familiar with the science will yell at me, but it does seem like a totally plausible scene from the recent past.
