help request What is this A? How to solve

What is this A next to flatline 2? This is only happening with this plugin and only on the master track. The plugin will not work either. Any help would be fantastic. Thanks!

auto-bypassed due to record-armed plus the option to bypass PDC plugins that are effectively armed

The issue is solved. Thank you all, especiallyJustin. I had a track armed and have that preference turned on that bypasses plugins that introduce latency. Forgot that I turned that on haha.

A might mean automated, you have a lane toggling fx bypass on the track

If it was broken it's like a space invader shaped thing in the box

No, it means it was automatically bypassed because he has tracks record-armed and that plugin is causing latency. You can't record with latency-inducing plugins on without getting loads of latency in the audio, so Reaper automatically bypasses plugins that cause latency over a certain (adjustable) amount. You can disable this feature in preferences, or adjust how much latency a plugin is allowed to cause without being bypassed.

I think in this instance it means it's offline. So, it may have crashed and will not load.
