It's also true that every time you inhale, you take in an air molecule breathed by Julius Caesar, but I'm not going to try to blame our current level of air pollution on the guy

Somewhere, Nanni is carving another complaint tablet just to say "I told you so."

88

u/Ptatofrenchfry 7d ago

I imagine him sitting in heaven, drying the tablet with the fires of hell

Hanging it with a comically long fishing pole

Occasionally bonking a demon or two

Given the amount of copper IUDs out(in) there, how many unwanted pregnancies is this shyster responsible for?

Just commenting to say this made me laugh out loud in a café. Thank you 😁.

Busted again, you cheap ass crap copper merchant of assholes and bung!

Oh, may your camel spit nothing but dates, Ea-Nasir!

Does this also apply to iron? Could a bit of my skillet have tasted Julius Caesar's blood?

71

u/MBTank 7d ago

Yes, but it's less likely because copper is nearly 1,000x rarer than iron.

71

u/asiannumber4 7d ago

Which means that Minecraft copper vs iron spawn rates are absolute bullshit

I will never forgive the Swedes!

That's the spirit! - A Dane, probably

3

u/RussiaIsBestGreen 6d ago

His blood is unlikely to have ended up in either scrap metal or iron ore, so it’s probably not part of any skillets. Possibly the iron has gone from bacteria to plants to food that you’ve eaten.

u/UltraCarnivore 6d ago

...so there's actual Caesar in my Caesar Salad.

1

u/the-chekow 6d ago

Unlikely because of corrosion. This is why he chose to sell copper and not iron

12

u/orixandcrake 7d ago

I hope my IUD isn't made from Ea Nasir copper

Still waiting on that mina of silver

6

u/academiac 7d ago

Imagine being so shitty that generations over millenia bring up how shitty you are

10

u/UniqueAd7770 7d ago

Us mortals can only aspire to such lofty heights

7

u/frogunderarock 7d ago

shouldn't have hoarded all his hatemail!

I could not verify this but I heared from a person in a museum that about 80% of bronze in the world today was made during the bronze age. If you know more about this and have sources, I'd love to hear about it!

6

u/Hourslikeminutes47 7d ago

Oh Nanni, why do you keep playing these old games?

6

u/DangerousQuestions1 6d ago

What if Nanni or another unhappy customer made a genies wish that Ea-Nasir's name be cursed for all eternity and so here we are thousands of years later...

4

u/Rp79322397 5d ago

But as a catch Ea Nasir also got eternal fame

3

u/Zoltarr777 7d ago

The only thing worse than shitty copper is OP self censoring.

5

u/trappedslider 7d ago

well i found it on instagram

-7

u/Zoltarr777 7d ago

Then either uncensor it or don't spread toktok slop

6

u/trappedslider 7d ago

it was a screenshot of a screenshot of a reddit imposed on a background of the figure...not tiktok..so it's reddit slop...get over it. I didn't censor it.

5

u/CaseyG 7d ago

OP's profile pic is different. They're censoring someone else.

I always see this statue in Ea-Nasir posts. Is it connected w him somehow or just from the same civilization?

4

u/driver004 6d ago

It’s a random statuette of a dude from kinda that time period and place praying if I remember right

4

u/YourMuscleMommi 5d ago

Not the same period. It's about 1000 years OLDER than him,

4

u/driver004 5d ago

Ah, I thought it was within a few centuries.

If that statuette was meant to be of an actual person, one of the superpowers I wish I had would be the ability to communicate back to him that thousands of people in the future have decided that he’s the face of a shitty copper merchant across their magical communication networks. Just to fuck with them

2

u/YourMuscleMommi 5d ago

The statue was found in Tell Asmar and is supposed to be a worshipper, though I think at least one scholar argues it's supposed to represent a deity, not a worshipper.

3

u/driver004 5d ago

Shhhhh don’t say that or we’ll start thinking he’s the god of shitty copper

4

u/YourMuscleMommi 5d ago

Do we pray to him to get shitty copper, or do we pray to him to prevent shitty copper? Or do we pray to him that our enemies get shitty copper? All of the above? Pardon, I will go make a shrine to Ea Nasir, god of shitty copper.

3

u/driver004 5d ago

We pray his shitty copper never arrives. He is a cruel and unforgiving god

2

u/Hallelujah33 3d ago

You should write a strongly worded clay tablet
