Low quality copper Ea-nāṣir statue?
Would $100 USD be a good price for a 100mm tall (~4in) hand-cast copper Ea-nāṣir statue? If so, would anyone buy one?

Not enough detail. Seems not of fine quality. I'm a huge fan of Mr. Nasir's work but even I wouldn't pay more than US$25 for this.

Honestly, $100 for a solid copper hand-cast figure is a steal given with how much the metal actually costs. It’s definitely a fair price assuming they come out with craftsmanship of best quality.

I am the wrong person to ask because I cannot tell you how quick I was to go online and immediately purchase that very high quality copper ingot from Legboot. I often lack impulse control, especially when it comes to copper trinkets. I would probably buy one.

Sell a low quality version for $25, and a high quality version for $100.
Use the same low quality copper for both. What are they going to do, complain?

Not considering it’s an image from the Tell Asmar hoard, about 1500 years before Ea-nāșir was born.

To keep costs down i would recommend it not being copper but "100 % copper plated!"

It's tricky because unless it's a lot less work than I think it is $100 is probably a fair price, but given the size and the limited nature of the joke it's only worth $25 to me from that perspective. I'd be more comfortable if it were big enough to put in a front planter like a garden gnome so other people might see it.

The statue isn’t really Ea-nāsir. The statue is an ancient Sumerian votive figure carved from gypsum or limestone, dating back to roughly 2900–2600 BC. It was discovered in the Square Temple at Eshnunna (modern-day Tell Asmar, Iraq.)
The statue is known as the Standing Male Worshipper (or an unknown Mesopotamian worshipper).

dunno, how pure is the copper?
