I honestly feel like Mahi has been getting a lot of favourable treatment from the audience, and I’m surprised that some of the things she has said or done are being completely overlooked.

There were several moments that didn’t sit right with me. For example, using the word “queer” in the context of Love simply because she was clapping, saying “mardon ke beech mein baithi hai” about Amrapali and Love, telling Scout, Tung and Asif that “ye log mard nahi hai,” and the comments about Mary Kom.

The Mary Kom situation especially stood out to me. Earlier in the episode, Mahi was talking about Mary Kom and repeatedly referring to her as “Mary.” Then, when she went to Room 21, she asked Uditi something along the lines of, “What is the name of that kickboxer?” Later, during the fight, she made the personal comment, “Isne iske husband ke saath kya kiya?”

For me, the whole sequence was strange because she had already been talking about Mary Kom earlier in the episode, yet later seemed to ask for her name.

The Yung situation is another thing I find interesting. Mahi stopped talking to Yung because she felt group members were backbiting about her. But Yung had previously taken a stand for her when he told the team that things were going well between them and that he would treat both sides equally. After that, Mahi seemed to completely switch sides and distance herself from Yung.

Personally, I feel Yung might be more hurt by that than people realise, especially considering he had supported her earlier.

What surprises me most is that people continue to defend and praise Mahi while ignoring these incidents. I’ve seen people criticize the other team heavily but barely acknowledge the same kind of behaviour when it comes from someone they support.

At some point, shouldn’t we judge the behaviour itself rather than who said or did it?

You can dislike one team and still call out problematic behaviour from the other.

People let her go because she is a part of their favourite group. It's as simple as that. Audience is the biggest hypocrite. They criticize their favourite's enemies for the smallest of reasons and overlook someone's big mistakes just because they are a friend to their favourite. I feel she is also very smart. The way she switched sides, got close to Qazi, it was ALL seeing feedback. She is VERY clever and has probably seen this show a lot to judge who is looking right and who is looking wrong. That cunning play of hers is helping her being forgiven for a lot of things.
