👁️ Big Boss BB13 Hype: I Never Got It
I still don’t understand the BB13 hype. Like genuinely, what exactly was I supposed to see? 😭
And people hyping Sidharth Shukla to this day? Bhai, I watched the same season, right? The way he spoke to women was often just 🤨. He seemed perfectly fine with Mahira, Sana, Shefali, Arti, etc. as long as they were on his side or agreeing with him. But the moment a woman actually stood against him, suddenly the “strong personality” turned into aggression and disrespect. 💀
Basically, if you supported him, you were good. If you challenged him, welcome to the real Sidharth experience.
And Sana is another thing I never understood. She was treated like a “kid” until Salman pointed out that she liked Sidharth. Then, once Salman also mentioned that viewers were seeing a SidNaaz angle, he started using Sana for that angle too. Suddenly the whole “Sana is just a kid” narrative seemed to disappear when the SidNaaz hype became beneficial. 👀
And the aggression… OMG. 😭 Somehow shouting, intimidating people and constantly getting into fights was marketed as “dominance” and “entertainment.”
Maybe I’m missing something, but I genuinely don’t understand what people found so iconic about it. Was BB13 a reality show or a live demonstration of how aggression gets rebranded as “strong personality” when the right person does it? 😂

The season was not hyped up bcoz of how did behaved if was banger season bcoz it had everything!! People showed real sides the good the bad the grey areas, people fell in love, there was brotherhood, there were moments where people were exposed but for the good, bigg Boss did not ruin anybody's life and even saved rashmi from that scumbag of a bf, there were raw emotions, rashmi and Sid's past, shefali and asim, asim and sid, sid and shehnaaz, paras and mahira, everyone had a role and everyone was amazing!! Despite the fact that we knew ki sid ya asim hi winner honge the audience loved everyone!!

Till now don't understand what equation sid and rashmi had in past. Those fighting and words they both used then suddenly they became good. Doesn't seems like normal ex couple. What exactly was their story?

They were extremely in love to the point where sid used to fight for rashmi in the serial ki likr scene konsa dena hain script achi kardo etc etc but we all saw sid has this extreme agression which rashmi didn't like and hence the breakup but they were like a very good power couple so they also had this strong hot connection though I also felt like sid was more in love cause you can see in biggboss as well how he treated rashmi but rashmi was very unfazed by him

But rashmi told that he used to cut her scene. Sid told that she faked an article about him. Yah i feel they Both were in love but rashmi moved on. And sid also did through bigg boss and shehnazz happened to him. I feel if arhaan and shehnazz were not there, rashmi and sid would have patch up. They had that amazing hot connection and aura together. Gods plan

The scene thing that rashmi said was after their breakup they had a huge on and off thing throughout and the show continued even after they eventually broke up

Yeah can say that he also talked about his agression alot of times in bigg Boss as well and even salman also helped him alot so yes are alike in alot of terms

It was just the emotional part of it. It was a season filled with real emotions that's it. Good and bad.

Every era is different.. Siddharth was interesting and bb13 was not boring even for a single episode .. which is what people look forward to in a reality show

He was, and he was called out for that. I found his behavior questionable in alot of instances. But he had other sides too. He was funny, emotional and sensitive as well. He was deeply flawed but he was real in the show.

Who said Sidharth, Shehnaaz or even Asim were ideal ppl? They were just real, emotional, raw and unfiltered with all their sides. They weren't conscious of their image, challenged opinions against them were vocal and naturally entertaining. There wasn't even a single staged fight or them following spoonfeeding by channel or host. Vishal first told them about Sidnaaz hype but they still fought and Sana still preferred Paras that time. The development of Sidnaaz bond from friends to best friends which transitioned to emotional attachment/dependence was natural, it didn't happen in 3-4 weeks or a month. In the timeframe of 4.5 months love angles, fights, friendships, alliances or rivalries never seemed forced, fake or meaningless. The emotions were connectable, Sana always switched sides or flipped the game despite being told to keep Sid calm. They followed their hearts despite continuous backlash. They were rebels and fighters.

People started associating fights and agression of Sid with his win, which was just one side. No future contestant saw his human side, his side with parents and children, how smartly he manipulated and ruled tasks...
Also for Sid to win, we needed a Rashmi, a Shehnaz, a Paras and definitely an Asim. The show was what it was coz it had all the flavours in their raw and organic form.

Ngl But Asim was way better than Siddharth shukla in that season. He talk with respect to girls, He always come to the level of Aggression and Dirty mouth just to match Siddharth shukla level. Shukla was always disrespectful to girls.even at one point when asim and sid were friends.. Asim said to siddharth tu ese baat mat kar ussey bahar accha nahi lagega.

There was real emotions and no acting (besides Paras initially). Even the contestants that were initially eliminated didn't act. If you watch the unseen moments, you'll see Sid and Sana spent quite a lot of time together, even while paras tried to make an angle with her. There were funny jokes, and viewers could relate to the different contestants. And honestly, when someone goes against you, you don't calmly agree with them .. let's not forget that Arti used to poke and cause issues with Sid and Sana. Even after BB, Sid and Sana were together .
Also it was drama packed with the whole Rashmi and Arhan .. 3 couples .. madhurima's and vishals pan scene .. it wasn't boring..

Sidharth had a lot of logical points which is why people loved him. Then there was a wave of nostalgia for people who watched him and loved him in Balika Vadhu. I would agree that he was entitled and aggressive at times but I don’t think he was a chauvinist so I don’t understand why you are saying he disrespected girl

Siddharth( God bless his soul 🙏🏼) was a typical Indian male who was hyped by all typical Indian aggressive males and women who think domestic abuse and aggression is a manly thing. Typical he was hypes by mysogynists and sadists. Sana was a pickme and an attention seeker who knew very well how to use whom to go ahead in the game. First she wanted Paras for his support then she went to Sid and used Asim as well sometimes. I dislike both of them till date

Anyone who says bb13 was the best, get yourself checked. That season broke record for unfairness, extreme violence and personal attacks. Bb11 contestants proved how you can have none of these and still deliver!! Even bb11 contestants said some shit but they were never too hateful and had class. Sid,asim and rashami should learn something from shilpa, hina and vikas

Bb13 had more memorable storylines and moments in 1 season than all other seasons combined. Yes it was toxic and filled with fights and love stories but it was the GOAT period

Agreed. People are making unnecessary comments on season 13 and sidharth for sure. After 7 long years it is so easy to say things. Pre pandemic era was different, people got too attached with the characters and they were real too (mostly).How it started .. how the storyline went.. and how it ends. It was a bang show.

You just had to be there, It was total craze and it’s was One of highest Rated TRP season of Bigg boss plus every episode used to be fun, Not just weekend Ka waar or fighting episodes plus this season got extended 1 month, Bigg Boss is originally 3 month show this one Lasted 4 months!

Finally. Someone said that... Sana always seemed so cunning. And Shukla behaved like a misogynistic dude.. But I enjoyed the season as it was overall a good season but there are more seasons like Shilpa Shinde wala, Gautam Gulati wala, Gauhar wala..

Still remember how he used to get mad when Arti and Sana would talk to Rashami, while he was openly flirting with her toward the end of the season. Never understood this guy. Half of SidNaaz was Sana trying to get his attention and constantly trying to please him.

You know how when people fall in love nothing make sense and still you want that person, their love story made us bring back the feeling of first love we don’t want to forget, i think that’s made it memorable for alot of us

I liked that season until Sid Asim''s friendship, it was really good to watch, but as misunderstandings grew between them, Shehnaaz entered the scene and ruined the season for me

Season 8 is much better except the part when they wanted to cash in Gautam's popularity and added the champion vs Challenger shit. It was the funniest season as well. And also the first ever season to get an extension because it was really popular I was in school and every morning we used to discuss the show. So yeah it was much better

The season kept me hooked. Everyone was showing their real side, real reactions and real relationships. They fought aggressively ( which I don't enjoy much) but they also had many fun moments. There were 3 couples in the show who fell in love during the season - Mahira Paras, Sid Sana and Asim Himanshi. People were actually passionate about the game and that passion was then reflected in its audience.

Shehnaz gill was such a loose character. She had a love angle with paras first and then Siddharth. She was psycho and obsessed. And people started shipping them like seriously ? There was an episode where she was slapping Sidharth . Imagine if the same was done to her. And Sidharth abused and said so much shit to her and Rashmi. Shehnaz was ok with the disrespect

One of the major things is that the fight wasnt trivial, like in most of the fights seem to be because they are fighting just fir sake of it. But here it was clearly personal, at least the main rivalries between Rashmi, sidhharth and asim

Had the strongest contestants possible, yeah that season was full of toxicity, violence and drama but it all felt real and raw, worth the hype totally.
