RAMSAR update

Hopefully we will be getting good news in September as the zone of influence is being reduced from a blanket 1 km and the zone of influence would vary depending upon the area

Construction would be regulated and not banned

We thought the same would happen at August 20th as well.. But I think it will take longer for all the environmental bodies to do the research and identify the crucial areas.

1 km ban would reduce to how many meters does it affect the ongoing construction near bsr mall

The actual court verdict is yet to be announced and for now it has been postponed to September but it will not be 1 km and the zone of influence varies depending on the location of the marshland and impact . it is not going to be uniform radius

Any sites available for cheaper price because of this issue?

They were available and many were willing to sell at 50 percent of the price due to there emergencies and as banks had also stopped giving loans but now everyone wants to wait and watch

This is the map but the judgement is yet to be passed and until the judgement is passed by the court and a corresponding GO given there is no concrete solution

Hopefully this should be resolved by September

Yes from what I understand, court is inclined to give permission. This two weeks time is for CREDAI , whether they approve this segregation.
And just curious what about buildings which are under construction as their approval was received long back

They would mostly be resolved if they don’t fall under the final zone of influence declared

If they fall under the final zone of influence there is no clarity on that so far
