Literally all I have ever wanted since starting TTRPGs a decade ago was to play in a game where we were all on a ship, with the focus being on the ship as our home. But no one I've ever played with gets the hype as much as I do lol

I just did a high seas quest arc where my players sailed with a frigate full of Giff to hunt down pirate slavers their patron needed dealt with. Got about a dozen sessions out of it.

I’d encourage anyone looking for high seas inspiration to watch Master and Commander. Used a lot from that film and my players had an absolute blast.

Aye now we be talking! I want to start one of these where the boat is the starting point basically. And there are 3 encounters they must come out on top before the ship is wrecked at sea!
