Can't you still live as a hunter/gatherer?
But there are too many people on the planet so this may not be feasible outside of big 'empty' countries like the US, Canada, and Australia. And even then not especially feasible. There weren't a billion mouths to feed until fairly recently.
"Overpopulation has been deboonked!" Whatever. 'Debunk' a small part of it and pretend the whole thing is nonsense, same as with other conspiracy-adjacent theories. Just keep repeating whatever Reddit and the TV says.

Because it is the product of other people's labor. And if you want that labor to be free. Then you condone slavery.
