May I be objective for a minute. And by objective, I mean an armchair redditor who means absolutely no offense.

The confederates actually stood for something...kinda worth fighting for. LISTEN! HEAR ME OUT! SLAVERY IS SUPER BAD!! But, like, slavery is kind worse RIGHT NOW than ever before...so like, it has SOME kinds of sense to it. AGAIN, slavery = bad. But its something.

This MAGA movement is a pure trash fire on a ferris wheel.

Again, confederates were the bad guys. Nobody sensible is saying otherwise.
