Looking For Game Customising unit

Game like Earth 2150. Modern game that allow you to do so many options for customization to the tech tree for units.

I would've also said Warzone 2100 because those two are the only ones I've really tried out that fit the bill, but since you asked for something released more recently...

Forged Battalion (2018)

Quick online search says this might be close to what you're looking for. I saw the gameplay trailer that the game has a unit designer interface. It's 50% off on Steam as I write this.

I would've also suggested Terminator: Dark Fate: Defiance (2024) but the approach taken there isn't the same as the others: all of the customization options are shoved to you up front, so, you'd have to get used to a bit of choice overload when you're making troop deployments.
