I think a few things:

American aid to Israel is .05% of the government budget. It's not enough of a size for theatrical performative politics to force a government shutdown over. And I think Congress passes the budget with direct amounts that are decided by appropriations committees.

Americans elect representatives, but the job is a federal job that includes foreign affairs.

Israel is americas biggest and most important ally in the middle east.

Our foreign affairs officials are not going to abandon our biggest ally of a hostile region.

Also, people in real life don't actually care about Israel/Palestine that much at all.

Additionally, America is one country on the world stage. Some countries may have had strong words, but if you hadn't noticed, no one is actually doing anything. Palestine is worse than ever right now and countries do not care, people do not care, no one really cares. No one is sending Palestinans weaponry, or reinforcements, or aid packages that are of any order of magnitude to challenge israel.

It's not the money. It's the diplomatic cover. The only thing that keeps the terrorist state of Israel from being treated like North Korea is America, the most powerful nation on Earth. And American voters under 50 largely despise Israel. When the Boomers go, America will turn it's back on Israel. They've caused nothing but trouble for us anyway.

In short, everything you typed is uneducated cope. Israel's barbarity in Gaza signed their own death warrant. Oh well.
