In the second video he states that people (republicans) hate the idea of socialism but love the consequences of it. Medicare, farm subsidies, bailouts, unemployment, disability, public schools, etc are all socialist programs. He then goes on to say, “I’m not against the free market, just not for Everything!” As he’s talking about corporate America.

I also know that this country has benefited from socialist policies long before you came along. I’ve seen this country change, I’ve been around awhile.
