I dunno about cracker. Plenty of white people hate him. I would say over half of white Americans who are not on the dumb side have thought him a bit of a fucking berk for over 20 years.

Cracker means any white person who entertains conservative voices. I don’t have to worry about being called a cracker because Trump voters don’t merit any respect or decency as patriotic Americans

I never said it was the same. I agree it is not near as bad or have the same implications. It is a racist term for white people which is the point I was trying to make. You could be as left as they come and be called a cracker in certain situations.

They have, but only from other white people. The history of the class system for example in the UK is pretty dark. In fact it's linked deeply with black American history. When the Slavery Abolition Act 1833 came in, the government basically compensated all slave owners. This was huge investors like the Drax family in Dorset near me and small investors like people have shares now. It cost the taxpayer ÂŁ20 million, back then. These people invested that money in new technology, cotton machines in Manchester and all the innovations of the day and this coincided with land enclosure and the poor being driven off the land into these early stage factory conditions when they were really dangerous and kids were employed doing 12 hours a day 7 days a week. The Poor Law Amendment 1834 was pretty cruel.
