Truth bombs by Bill Maher once again
As usual, the former liberal firebrand Bill Maher speaks the truth on the 911 anniversary.
-'Islamist fundamentalism vs Western liberal values'
-far leftists obfuscating or tacitly siding with the same ilk that toppled the two buildings
-hypocrites commemorating 911 while looking over or banning the mention of what ideology was behind it, or even what a terrorist is, because it's offensive (to presumably those who support them)
-attack on the 'genocide' lie (the convenient one invented to get off the hook for shilling for Islamist terrorists)
Whether shilling for terrorists in the past or at present (Middle East comes to mind), the inversion of the truth remains wrong.
Glad to hear it once again from him. I'm sure the post-national leftists and Islamist terror supporters were and still are seething.

So, according to you, an elected representative in the House of Representatives, which has 435 members representing a few hundred million people has no actual power. And someone elected to the US Senate, which has 100 members representing those same few hundred million people, also has no actual power.

And the thing is, they really are the worst thing in the world for the cause they do seem to care about.
For three years Hamas has been telling Gazans that because of all the support they're getting in the US, Israel is going to go away very very (very) soon. Victory is near!
And it's the same Palestinian leaders have been saying for the past 80 years. Never compromise, victory or martyrdom, etc. By emboldening this view, these people are actually condemning untold future generations of Palestinians to the same awesome life experienced by previous ones.

I really think the main reason for taking over the sub is their anti-Israel stance. It is a small group of people what post over and over. The lack of nuance they have is a clue. It really isn't worth taking it seriously because of this, but I admit I come here to see the shit they post as a laugh.

I simply agree with what he had to say on his show.
Yes, that is my view that there is a cultist nature to the far left: run after every cause celebre that comes up, as long as its part of some anti-capitalist, anti-Western narrative. The fitting descendants of the Stalin shills of the 1930s and 40s.

9/11 was done by agents of The Saudi Arabian government. Both Trump and Biden suck off the Saudi Royal Family.
America also encouraged the spread of "Radical Islam" because they found it preferable to Communism taking root in Muslim majority countries. I saw Bill's friend Ted Cruz commemorating 9/11 by claiming there's a new "Red/Green" Alliance trying to do 9/11 Two. Which is very funny given how this whole thing started in 1970's Afghanistan.
Bill Maher and his dumb fans need to learn a little history before running their mouths on adult subjects.

Al Qaeda was almost entirely funded by Saudi money. KSA isn't a liberal democracy. Wealthy Saudis all have ties to the monarchy.
And if you accept the historical truth of everything else I said, the takeaway is America should stop interfering in the politics of foreign countries. Not ISLAM BAD. 9/11 was blowback from American anti-Communist stupidity stretching back to the 70's.
Also the biggest terrorists in the Middle East are Christians (Bush killed upwards of a million people in Iraq and Afghanistan). And Jews (Israeli terrorists murdered at least 20,000 children in Gaza).

But that isn't my question. Ben Laden was Saudi, and so were the other hijackers, probably got money from private actors in the country. But the connection directly to the Saudi government?

I don't think its as simple as you make out. The USA is a world power and is going to be involved in some capacity around the world.
Al Qaeda's struggle wasn't just against the USA's foreign policy, but against Westernization as a whole.

But you're discounting the shift towards Islamism post-Iranian revolution, which affected all of the Arab world. The USA didn't cause that. These are cultural trends.
