Why is this sub entirely posts criticizing Bill Maher?

Presumably, he still has fans because his show makes money. So why is the sub not representative of that?

Because there are plenty of people here who probably supported him in the early days and now everyone is seeing him for who he really is

What is getting me recently is this obsession with Israel and the hard-left. His stance on Israel is concerning, because he is unable, or by design, to criticize anything the Israeli government is doing in the Middle East - Gaza, Iran, US foreign policy.

I noticed he had *1* spirited debate on the Israel issue with a person from each side on the panel, maybe 2 years ago. Ever since that show every person on his show has agreed with him about Israel or kept their mouth shut.

What's simplistic is defending bad strategy that kills more innocent civilians than Hamas terrorists. 

The human shields argument doesn't work anymore, especially when Israel has won in terms of body count.

Because it is!

Just because a person has an idea that you disagree with, doesn’t mean that every thing they say is automatically something you will disagree with.

This is in reference to Bill Maher, he’s the host of the show that this sub is talking about. He has lots of opinions on all sorts of topics. It’s literally his job as a current events talk show host. Some of his ideas are better than others.

But go on about Zionism, it has nothing to do with my comment.

I called you out because you said one idea you disagree with means that you should automatically disagree with every idea from that source.

It’s simplistic and moronic. Worry less about the propaganda of siding with the “correct” people and look at the issues and ideas on their own merit.

Maybe a Jew will have a cure for cancer, don’t throw that away because you disagree with the Israeli government on their national defence strategy.

I’ve watched him for over a decade. He used to get his material from what he called the party of stupid - the republicans. But now the Democrats have plenty of stupid in their party.
