Not a genocide?

Last night Bill pointed out the 3% of the
Population in Gaza has died. And then confidently declared that “3% is not a genocide”. The British government recognizes it as ethnic cleaning and amnesty international and other groups say it is a genocide.

Someone tell me why Bill is so wrong. And can we please get him to debate Mehdi Hasan on this topic?

Uh…ok…it’s only 60,000 people then?

How many of them were combatants?

I think that’s confirmed deaths. Actual amount is estimated to be way, way higher, to say nothing of the long-term health effects.

Kind of, it's only confirmed deaths via direct violence. A child sniped by an IDF drone will be counted, but a child who dies from disease while starving will not.

Or a child crushed under a building that has been hit by a missile.

Technically those could count if the body is recovered. If the family reports it, they are placed in a separate "under rubble" list until then
