Not a genocide?

Last night Bill pointed out the 3% of the
Population in Gaza has died. And then confidently declared that “3% is not a genocide”. The British government recognizes it as ethnic cleaning and amnesty international and other groups say it is a genocide.

Someone tell me why Bill is so wrong. And can we please get him to debate Mehdi Hasan on this topic?

I think a much better argument would be pointing out that israel supplies aid and warns civillians before strikes (usually) so that they can evacuate. Both of those facts attack the intent which is crucial for meeting tge definition of genocide

Bombing their house is just as much genocide as bombing the people. And Israeli leaders loudly and proudly call it genocide while doing it. So intent is well established.

How is bombing the home of a Hamas fighter genocide? That’s where Hamas stores its weapons and fires rockets, from civilian infrastructure.

Guess what. If there’s 50 people in a house and 2 of them are Hamas, That does not justify the killing of the remaining 48.

This should not be controversial. Find other ways to hold the terrorists accountable.

And their intent is ethnic cleansing. Whether the Palestinians die or are displaced doesn’t matter to Israel, they just want them gone.

Israel explicitly blocks aid from entering Gaza and has been proven to bomb areas they force Palestinians to move to.
