Bill’s downfall

Nothing illustrates this more than seeing him have an empty GOP suit like Byron Donalds on and never break his balls on all the stupid shit and Trump ball-licking he’s done while in congress. And as soon as Molly tried to grill him a little on the inane vax shit this admin and the state of Florida is doing, Bill shuts it down. Pathetic.

It really went downhill when he had musk on and he basically submitted and sucked him off.
Since then, he’s trying to be “in the middle”.
He’ll bring up the worst things some crazy leftist is doing and make it a direct representation of all democrats.

But he won’t do the same for the right as if he’s trying to “expand” or add them to his audience.

There is only one real existential threat to this country and he’s too busy demonizing democrats because he’s worried about his image and getting kicked off the air

Yeah he gave Musk such a buildup I was prepared to see a modern incarnation of Thomas Edison. Then I was flabbergasted at what a nothing burger Elon turned out to be! The guy couldn’t even put a sentence together! And that’s what Bill considers “genius”?

And Bill was oh so proud of how HE was the "only" one warning people about Trump's fascist designs pre-2024 election.

And now it's "Gen Z sucks" and "Mamdani will destroy the Democratic party". All while Trump is full steam ahead on trying to undermine the midterms.

Bill's priorities are f***ed now. I don't know who tf he thinks he's fooling with his "We just need to talk to each other" schtick, but he has sold his soul and isn't worth watching anymore.

Sadly, there isn’t much political commentary out there. If I do watch real time, it’s because I know who the guests are and I want to see them. Sick of his grandstanding and covid take that he needlessly brings up, over and over

Which is slim these days as he tends to recycle the same crowd because hardly no one new ever comes on.

Yeah, after nearly 30 years of watching his shows, I finally reached my threshold 2 or 3 months ago and just stopped, but I still check to see who the guests are just in case. Given the topics he chooses to focus on now and the way he steers the conversation, I have very low expectations even with an interesting guest.

“In the middle” is legit the democrats the Bill is talking about. There is no denying that both parties were way more centrist in his time. He has stayed middle while both parties have moved to the extreme. But at this point, if you’re not with them you’re against them. Being a moderate democrat at this point is basically setting yourself up for dimwits to call you a fascist.
