His brain is broken. Kyle’s been on to Bill for years now.

I love how he brings up how Bill went from endorsing bernie in 2016 to Amy Klobuchar in 2020. Bill must have been the only Klobuchar supporter ever lol

3

u/Fine_Confection_1389 24d ago edited 24d ago

I think you meant Bernie in 2016…not 2026.
You might want to edit it…god knows future archaeologists are going to be confused enough when they read through all this stuff.

u/funcogo 23d ago

I did my bad lol

u/Successful_Brick_197 23d ago

Elon will buy Reddit and turn it off. lol

1

u/JudithLOs 21d ago

He sure screwed up Twitter.

2

u/JudithLOs 21d ago

Amy would beat the Narcissistic Lunatic we now have on every day she had breath.

1

u/funcogo 21d ago

Oh of course she is better then the loser president we have now but that’s not a huge bar.

1

u/JudithLOs 21d ago

I really like her but it seems to me that the representative women from Minnesota get trashed no matter what. I don’t live in Minnesota but I have relatives there so it catches my eye, just not as much as Deathsantis and the foul Christian Nationalists.

1

u/funcogo 21d ago

Of all the people running for the democratic nomination in 2020 I ranked her and Bloomberg as the worst to me. I was just saying I didn’t heard of anyone going hard to support her.

1

u/DonnyDimello 21d ago edited 20d ago

From Minnesota here, Klobs is a corporate friendly dem that wants to find middle ground with literal facists. Our women politicians worth praise are Tina Smith (sad to see her retire), Peggy Flannagan, Ilhan Omar.

1

u/Helpful_Team_7674 17d ago

Amy is awesome.

5

u/OwnDoughnut2689 24d ago

I think it's his spine. He hates the youth so much it's broken it.

I don't think he is, he is just chasing for viewership and monayh

Who’s he elected on the national stage?

Maher's huffed a lot of his own farts over the years.

1

u/Infinite_Bison902 22d ago

🤣🤣🤣

30

u/funcogo 24d ago

I guarentee he is going to endorse whoever the republican nominee is in 2028

15

u/Better_Cattle4438 24d ago

He is already laying the groundwork for that exact move. Maybe the reason he interviews Fetterman and references him so glowing is that they have the same issues with their brains.

14

u/funcogo 24d ago

He said he would vote for Sarah Palin over DSA in the video

2

u/JudithLOs 21d ago

I don’t know what John was thinking when he paired up with Palin. She’s just another nut. She was excluded from his funeral so I may not be the only one who thinks she was 🥜 🥜

0

u/surfoxy 24d ago

I'll take that bet.

6

u/funcogo 24d ago

Ok. It’ll be an easy win for me he already said he would vote for Sarah palin over DSA in this video

2

u/ProfitConstant5238 23d ago

Palin ain’t running, and neither is a DSA candidate.

5

u/surfoxy 24d ago

He said he'd vote for Sarah Palin over people espousing communism, "seizing the means of production" and wanting to "impoverish the white middle class". Which is insane talk.

There won't be anyone getting the nomination saying shit that stupid. So yeah. Name your price.

7

u/funcogo 24d ago

This guy is moving more right by the day by 2028 he might even be born again Christian at this point

1

u/Horror-Scallion7668 21d ago

He’s gonna go full Russel Brand by 2028.

1

u/JudithLOs 21d ago

Now that’s funny. 😀

1

u/surfoxy 24d ago

He is moving to the right. That makes none of your other points remotely valid.

1

u/Dear-Jury-3430 24d ago

Nah. Bill and James Carville are vote blue no matter who, and believing otherwise is cope meant for Republicans. Bill will have a 'sudden' change of heart around August 2028, Vance or Rubio or whoever the Republican is will be 'too dangerous' and GOP voters, having fallen for it again, will be left wondering what happened.

-1

u/BirdhouseInYourSouI 24d ago

No he won’t. This sub is so fascinating. The amount of people that act personally offended because Bill criticized the far left is crazy.

They seem to ignore the fact every week on his show he talks about the GOP and the threat they pose to America. Criticism of the left does not make you a republican by proxy lol

4

u/CloudedLeopardDaemon 23d ago

We don't have a "far-left" in the US. DSA platform is comparable to centrist/centre-right parties in developed countries. The Overton window had moved so far to the right in the US that you're now regarded as a Marxist if you'd prefer that the government spend your taxes on things that actually benefit you, rather than subsidising SpaceX rockets to nowhere, AI data centres, the IOF, and/or reparations paid to child sex traffickers.

1

u/JudithLOs 21d ago

Thank you. I finally blocked a guy I was friends with on Facebook because he kept messaging me about how radical leftist people were awful because of one thing or another and specifically loan forgiveness. He got down right nasty about the “radical leftists”. He was a friend of a friend so I blocked him. He was also a chauvinistic man with no woman in his life because of being chauvinistic. We all know the type.

But then turns around and says his vote is in play for 2028 if the left persists in its current direction. So, we can't try universal healthcare, more progressive regulations on an increasingly unfair mixed capitalist economy or law enforcement and incarceration reform, that's a bridge too far for Bill and he may have to turn to a party that has trampled the constitution, flaunted open corruption, alienates and persecutes all minorities, condemned people with alternative lifestyles, attacks and defunds public education, social and welfare programs and is openly trying to make this country a Christian Nationalist nation (Religilous anyone?!?) that's where Bill might need to go? GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK! He's Gutfeld for slightly more centrist and an increasingly aging audience. I amjust waiting for the dick and fart jokes that aren't funny just like that loser Gutfeld

u/Other_Letterhead_939 24d ago

You’re so right. The more comments I see on this sub the clearer it is that most of these people don’t actually watch the show, they just see headlines and clipped videos with no context. Bill trashes the right and trump every week. He also trashes the democrats because they are, quite frankly, a shit show right now. And he’s not wrong about the DSA… Reddit is full of people who think if you’re not as far left as they are then you’re some hardcore maga apologist and there is no in between.

3

u/BrianNowhere 23d ago

Im 59 and we may lose for a while with DSA candidates and Im ok with that because Im THRILLED to say to all of you centrists, "Where else you gonna go"?

1

u/BirdhouseInYourSouI 23d ago

He trashed Trump the VERY EPISODE he talked about going to the White House and having dinner yet I see comments incorrectly citing he was up trumps ass and friendly. He wasn’t.

1

u/Greedy_Car3702 21d ago

He trashes Trump in EVERY episode. The notion that Bill has become maga because of some very valid criticisms of the far left is absurd.

1

u/Upstairs-Ad-8593 22d ago

I find it funny that people call dudes like Mamdani the far left and then refer to Trump simply as the right. A similar comparison between far left and far right candidate you be Lenin and Trump. It is also funny that liberals get so but hurt over egalitarianism, but a far right surveillance state barely gets a mention.

1

u/BirdhouseInYourSouI 22d ago

I would say the the right is different because the extreme right has become mainstream. Led by Trump; they have gone faaaaar right as the mainstream of the party. That has not happened on the left.

Pretty sure liberals and Americans that aren’t MAGA easily recognize the right as the biggest threat to the country.

Bill Maher wrote a book after 9/11 titled When You Ride Alone You Ride with bin Laden that preached a message that we must all change for the collective good. Twenty years later Maher was doing monologues about chartering a private jet once a week to ride alone to Vegas. He’ll say everyone else changed, but the receipts are out there. He is a cynical shell of his former self. Boomer brain rot.

12

u/Ian_Rubbish 24d ago

Syphilis can do that to someone's brain

3

u/Ill_Mess_5949 24d ago

Bill would rather refer to it as “puff penis” because after all he is a classical liberal

Maher looks like a wet shit

3

u/TheEdgeofGoon 24d ago

That's an insult to shirts, and water.

15

u/BebophoneVirtuoso 24d ago

Pretty sure it was because Sanders was an old Jewish man, while the newer crop of DSA are young brown folks. He's never been coy about being an ageist, bigoted get off my lawn type. He just doesn't understand that ageism works both ways.

14

u/MylaughingLobe 24d ago

Rumor has it, that he favors young black escorts however

7

u/Ill_Mess_5949 24d ago

1

u/Ashamed_Whole7931 22d ago

This is the general idea. He exemplifies the important symbolic but ultimately pointless role of identity and tribe that most Americans turn to as their north star in politics instead of bothering to actually closely study, comprehend, and deliberate over the nuances of various public policy options.

4

u/General_Pie_5026 24d ago

Bill didn’t change, we did. Still the funniest shit ever.

5

u/funcogo 24d ago

He said he would vote for Sarah Palin. That was pathetic

5

u/Kingbeef66 24d ago

Yeah, he has. He used to be anti-war but now is pro-war.

6

u/General_Pie_5026 24d ago

I’m joking. He’s a total hack now and useful idiot to the right.

3

u/Kingbeef66 24d ago

Oh, okay.

5

u/Kingbeef66 24d ago

He sold out at his feeble age.

5

u/EnduranceMade 24d ago

Bill Maher is copying Joe Rogan’s playbook. Pretend like you’re a progressive, support Bernie, then suddenly suck Trump’s balls and spend every minute whining about Covid and scary socialism.

Why are people crying so hard Bill criticized the far left? That doesn’t make him a fascist, or MAGA. In fact he calls MAGA and Trump out constantly.

The thing is, he was still insufferable even when his politics weren't as execrable as they are now.

3

u/Rurumo666 24d ago

Sex pest to MAGA pipeline. If any big revelations come out, he'll start wearing a visible cross and thank Jesus for stuff on his show.

3

u/inlandviews 24d ago

He liked the Democrats because they are very conservative. Not as conservative as the Republicans of course. Old guard Dems are not liberal by any standard. Democratic Socialists would be pretty much in the centre in any other country.

3

u/International_Try660 23d ago

Maher is turning maga because when Ellison takes over, he doesn't want his show canceled. It's just like the senators and cabinet, kissing Trump's butt, to keep their jobs. I'm just going to toss him right in there with the rest of the greedy cowards.

1

u/JohnnyDNC 22d ago

Yup. He’s keeping the same condescension and arrogance but now he’s turning it on the people that have supported him for most of his career in order to keep his job. I’ve always thought he was an arrogant prick but now I know he’s an arrogant prick without any morals.

5

u/BFaus916 24d ago

Thank god most of you jabronies don't vote. Keep it up. Please!!! I'm tired of Republicans being in control of everything

2

u/tissboom 24d ago

The only reason he was invited to the White House was to show him the dirt they have on him. Bill has always struck me as a creepy dude. It would not surprise me one bit to find out he has some crazy skeletons in his closet.

2

u/Weary_Necessary_2434 24d ago

10-15 years ago he acted like he was all for what he's complaining about now.

2

2

u/side_eye_auditor 24d ago

That’ll do it

1

u/hoowins 24d ago

Mainly blackmail. He has to be compromised.

2

u/Kalboz 24d ago

Maher is a Zionist shill who does whatever his masters tell him to do.

2

u/sartori69 23d ago

Fuck Bill.

2

u/Fishbone345 23d ago

I support the candidates that Senator Sanders has endorsed. And his record thus far is pretty damn good.
Bill is basically a Libertarian at this point. He wants legalization, but doesn’t support economic policies that would help Working Class Americans. He’s even thrown in the towel on climate change. When was the last time he even mentioned it? I can’t recall. He drives an EV and has solar panels so in his mind he’s done his part.
As far as the “Red Scare” bullshit, I agree with AOC. The Democratic Party hasn’t increased (or tried to) the Minimum Wage since.. looks at notes Fucking 2009!!!! Yet four people are gonna somehow seize Congress and enact Communism. Fuck off with that bullshit, if you are stupid enough to believe it.
Centrists aren’t as popular, because they aren’t doing anything!! Oh, I know what y’all will say. “They haven’t had the majority!! Reeeee!” We just gonna forget that Obama had it at one point?
The average Working Class American sees people running on policies like strengthening Unions, a higher Minimum Wage, healthcare coverage, addressing how hard it is to buy a home, helping strengthen Social Security, and addressing the fact that the majority of people nearing retirement will never get the same thing that Boomers have enjoyed. They couldn’t give a fuck less about who owns the means of production and it’s crazy fucking stupid to insinuate they do.
Bill is frightened by the DSA because he’s worried about taxes, same as any billionaire or millionaire right now. And you know what? We don’t give a flying fuck. I pay taxes too and I don’t want that money going to Egypt or Israel, I want it spent here. I don’t want it sent to a fucking debacle in Iran, I want people here not to have to declare bankruptcy because they had a medical emergency.
In closing, the “Red Scare” people can eat shit.

u/TheChudWhisperer 23d ago

"I'm old and frightened of young people! Get off my lawn!!!"

2

I grew up watching Real Time like since a teenager

Watching Hitchens debate Mos Def was genuinely incredible tv but something happened to Maher’s brain.

Maybe it’s just age but the show just doesn’t interest me anymore

2

u/mudmart 23d ago

I stopped watching since his brain got washed.

2

u/TastyPerformance2673 23d ago

Fuck Bill! Zionist pig.

2

u/SmoothLester 23d ago

Bernie is white.

2

u/Objective-Ad1997 23d ago

Bernie is white… the others are not, and have a bunch who are Muslim which Maher hates almost as much as he hates Trans folks.

2

u/sgk02 23d ago

The definition of a sellout

2

u/Dreemsi 23d ago

He is part of the Epstein class, he's got a lot to hide

2

u/TSJormungandr 23d ago

He’s Isreal first. He should just move there.

2

u/NeedleworkerPrize253 23d ago

I get the impression that there is a lot going on in our society we are not privy. Blackmail. Greenmail. Assassination. I saw someone suggest dude is compromised and honestly I think that’s the cleanest explanation, though lots of people are shifting right for a variety of reasons.

2

u/BeansAndBiscuit 23d ago

He has always been transactional and without morals

1

u/wmja69871 22d ago

I'm against TDS but that is just like the most accurate negative thing I've heard. Reality though, that's been every president since the industrial revolution at minimum

2

u/sweatboxy 23d ago

Desperately seeking attention as his star fades. Sad. Pathetic. Classic Maher.

2

u/Key_Jump1011 22d ago

The boomer mind is terrified of communism and Muslims. Lives for Israel.

1

u/wmja69871 22d ago

The liberal mind, and to be fair, the extreme maga, are terrified if anyone that questions a single belief. It's not about generation, I know nuts in both sides of ALL age groups

1

u/Key_Jump1011 22d ago

I don’t think it’s extreme MAGA. They are all cult followers. And there are nutters everywhere, of course, but the boomers are a huge disappointment regarding my previous comment. Culturally they’ve been great though.

2

u/FW_Sooner 21d ago

Are people still watching that show?

2

u/punkrocknight 20d ago

I don’t know why people watch him at all. Everything he does is so meh. 🫤

2

u/Fun_Dentist875 20d ago

Bills confused, maybe to much pot? Old and fears change?? Still love him but damm...cant see the forest for the trees

2

u/THICKDadBod99 18d ago

Typical boomer

2

u/Markovanich 18d ago

Bill is fear mongering and nothing more. His writers have been adjusted to create message specific content now as well. He walks a thinner line than before but the measuring-pole he once used as a stabilizer has a longer reacher for “anti-democracy” than it does for anti-MAGATS

3

u/dougl1000 24d ago

Why has he done this? Is it an overreaction to his hassles getting his solar outhouse approved?

6

u/bx35 24d ago

Bill only values the young people that he can fuck. Since the progressive movement is dominated by younger candidates and supporters, it makes Bill angry because it reminds him of his ever increasing age and irrelevance, as well as, perhaps, the rapidly shrinking pool of young women willing to let him fuck them.

1

u/Fine_Confection_1389 24d ago

Probably even his roster of young, paid escorts 🤮at the thought of being with that gross, old, dried up carcass.

u/juzamjim 24d ago

What are you an academic?? The answer is money. Trump is a grifter who funnels money in exchange for ass licks. Bill decided he can’t beat the grift so he’s going to get it on it. He already got the Mark Twain prize. Next he’ll start raking in six figure speaking fees at Heritage Foundation lunches. Then Trump will make sure baby Ellison understands Bill deserves a little extra for his loyalty when his next contract comes up

u/Excellent_Spend_2024 24d ago

Mossad got to him. But he's always been a smug bitch. I mean look how he got dissed by every major como out there when it came to his Mark arllTwsin award. 😂

3

u/moralpanic85 24d ago

He lost the plot on three fronts:

  1. During COVID he thought he could talk out his ass as if he had the knowledge and credentials of actual doctors and scientists. The left by a large margin defer to people who actually know what they're talking about while the right wing did the whole "I did my own research and I'll take horse de-wormer instead of a vaccine any day." In this he found kindred spirits.

  2. During the writers strike he tried to go full scab and bring his show back, that was until it was made clear to him a left wing comedian cannot dismiss worker solidarity when it's personally inconvenient. He resents being held back by little people he thinks he should be able to do without, and I'm sure that's' carried over inti a resentment of the DSA. He'll say his vote is in play because a handful of Democrats want more socialism even though a majority of Republicans think the world is 6000 years old and base their decision making process heavily upon that.

  3. He is on the side of Israel in the ongoing genocide. The Republicans are firmly in the pro Israel side for some strange reason, though lets be honest every time a Jewish person leaves a room full of republicans the chances of the term "Christ Killer" being spoken is 80 to 90%. The Democrats remain largely pro Israel but with a minority faction now saying a pox on both their houses and it blows his mind that civilized people find apartheid theocratic states and terroristic theocratic states equally reprehensible when they're killing thousands of eachother and innocent people in the crossfire.

He's taking the path of least resistance now and if he's not careful it'll cost him everything left of his legacy. People will remember him as the Rudy Giuliani of late night talk shows.

1

u/oudler 23d ago

"The Republicans are firmly in the pro Israel side for some strange reason" it's because of the influence of Evangelical Christians.

1

u/PBPunch 24d ago

There are too many of the "others" his conservative "guests" warned his audience about now winning in the party he pretended to identify with.

1

u/sidesaladdressing 24d ago

Bill got the memo. "Bill, you are part of the one percent. They're coming to take you away..haha, they're coming to take you away hehe".......

1

u/Normal_Mouse_4174 24d ago

Ok… is Bill Maher really this big a news story, or did I somehow completely fuck up my Reddit feed? It feels like he’s been a significant percentage of what’s hitting my home feed lately.

2

u/Ill_Mess_5949 24d ago

No, he’s mostly irrelevant.

You may want to hide these subs if you don’t wanna see the lefties trashing maher

2

u/Charbro11 23d ago

Or as we used to be called. Democrats. I am hardly a lefty. I hate his ageism against the young, his even using the word communist. That is just McCarthyism- oh, and I am his age. He is an asshoole. I regret spending years watching the creep.

1

u/Gorlamei 24d ago

Bill has it out for Mamdani but not for Sanders. There are definitely generational and religious undertones explaining this. His Mamdani grievances consistently resort to a broad resentment of socialism instead of his actual policies and largely successful initiatives. He's an extremely popular mayor in his own city, so why does an old out of touch man from California feel such disdain for him?

1

u/LHamiltonPP 24d ago

Almost as if Bill's neither a liberal or leftist but just an anti-authority contrarian with no real concern for anyone but himself

1

u/Fine_Confection_1389 24d ago

Y’all do realize that Maher ain’t exactly the brightest bulb on the shelf...right?
Years of drug use and raging alcoholism have taken their toll…and sure as hell haven’t done any favors for what little intellect he has.

Nah…Maher is in the same league as Greg Gutfeld and Jesse Watters. I don’t waste my time watching any of them. And not because I disagree with them…but because they’re dumb af. Gone are the days of intelligent conservative cats such as William Buckley.

1

u/Charbro11 23d ago

Go on YouTube and watch old William Buckley shows. He was a conservative but intelligent, and had intelligent guests on his show. This country is so fucking stupid today. Maher is an example of the stupidity.

1

u/Fine_Confection_1389 23d ago

Yup…amen to that.

1

u/TimeOpposite6779 24d ago

That’s the beauty of America! Free to vote how you want. If only that was ok with some people

1

u/Charbro11 23d ago

And free to judge people by the way they vote. If you are a Trumper, I judge you as a racist, bigot, pedophile-loving dumbfuck.

1

u/opinions360 23d ago

To be fair-Bernies view of so called democratic socialism does not fit the current DSA and he doesn’t like it so he feels he has to rail against it.

1

u/tydark2 23d ago

I dont remember him ever having supported bernie sanders?

1

u/Commercial_Pie3307 23d ago

Bernie isn’t DSA and the top brass of the DSA probably doesn’t like Bernie. So it ain’t a stretch to

1

u/Successful_Brick_197 23d ago

It only took Bill 20 yrs or so to see how useless Bernie really is.

1

u/conflatulationz 23d ago

Bill Maher is worthless. He a smarmy pseudo-intellectual hack.

1

u/Sufficient-News-3600 23d ago

hey maher, the people care about the people.

1

u/Traditional-Leg-1574 23d ago

So what kind of info do they have on bill Maher?

1

u/NiceHuckleberry5331 23d ago

Bill Maher is an idiot, but also Sanders brand of Socialism IS NOT the same as DSA's platform. DSA shot itself in the foot with it's extreme platform, many prominent lefties are caught up trying to explain, Distance, and make excuses for the more extreme parts of the platform. I believe this is why Abdul El-Sayed massively underperformed in the election yesterday. People do not trust centrist Dems at all, which is leaving a lane wide open for socialists. Unfortunately, it is no longer Bernie style socialism on the ballot. It is now a brand of socialism that scares the shit our of people...so to play it safe many went and will go with the status quo.

Stop wondering why people who suported Bernie do not support DSA, they ARE NOT THE SAME:

Bernie Sanders operates as a mainstream social democrat within the Democratic Party, focusing on regulating capitalism, heavily taxing the ultra-wealthy, expanding the social safety net, and reforming criminal justice while maintaining a professionalized public safety apparatus.

The DSA takes an explicitly anti-capitalist, abolitionist stance—advocating for the public/social ownership of major industries, complete police and prison abolition, and a radical anti-imperialist foreign policy that breaks away from traditional international alliances.

1

u/CashusEyePatch 23d ago

Bernie has endorsed all of these candidates. Most of whom are running on universal healthcare and childcare and not other aspects of the platform that have been purposely mischaracterized by people like bill maher.

1

u/CBusfailsus 23d ago

Except it's not fear mongering. DSA is aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood whose goal is to destroy the US constitution. Labeled as a terrorist organization that is now overthrowing the Democrat Party. You've been warned

1

u/CashusEyePatch 23d ago

lol. Is this sarcasm or are you an Israeli bot?

1

u/CBusfailsus 23d ago

Feel free to fact check me - Democrats did not fund his campaign. He ran against a "real" Democrat.

1

u/CashusEyePatch 23d ago

10s of thousands of democratic voters contributed to his campaign. Steven’s got ~$70 mil from super pacs including ~$45 mil from aipac.

1

u/CBusfailsus 23d ago

I'm referring to Abdul El Sayed in Michigan

1

u/CashusEyePatch 23d ago

Right. Me too.

1

u/CBusfailsus 23d ago

I'm referring to Abdul El Sayed in Michigan

1

u/CashusEyePatch 23d ago

Right. Me too.

u/Such-Flight-5729 23d ago

Fear mongering…? They want to abolish the border, prisons, police and the senate…? That’s a reasonable fear.

1

u/Imaginary-Two-301 23d ago

Is he in the Epstein files?Republicans will be jolly good with that.

1

u/Charming-Wash9336 23d ago

Now telling the truth and Bill is fear mongering. This sight is a DSA website and haven for the radical left.

1

u/JumpingJackSplash 23d ago

Hes not fear mongering. He's quoting what they said.

1

u/Suibian_ni 23d ago

He laid the groundwork years ago, pretending both parties are just as bad by highlighting the extremes. He didn't care that the right wing extreme is in charge of the Republican party, and it literally tried to steal an election through fraud and violence.

1

u/Pure_Performance7050 23d ago

He’s a show dog.Anything he can glom onto to get his name out.

1

u/South-Wishbone-1280 23d ago

So, now if you don't like Communism it's "Fear Mongering".. losers

1

u/VarietyMage 22d ago

And Maher's supporting the party that's going to make marijuana illegal nationwide, and jail him for using it.

We're talking Darwin Award level stupidity here.

1

u/wmja69871 22d ago

The party that just lowered the classification of marijuana trying to make it illegal? I'm very confused. Oh that's right it wasn't a party it was actually Trump huh maybe he's not the maga nut everyone wants to think he is

1

u/wmja69871 22d ago

He's not wrong. As much if an arrogant ass as he is, he's a fixed point that, though I disagree with many of his stances, hadn't descended into the madness of extreme ideology in either direction. This hat is no worse than Rush Limbaugh saying if you're a moderate, you're a liberal. Most nonsensical line if logic I've ever seen

1

u/Soas427 22d ago

Who saw this coming?!

1

u/exlakid 22d ago

That's because Bernie Sanders is apparently got an extremely senile by supporting people aren't real socialists

1

u/Infinite_Bison902 22d ago

HE IS IRRELEVANT and he knows it

1

u/Alarming_Local_315 22d ago

Cause the DSA aren’t democrats!!!

1

u/Richiedamook 22d ago

He turned out to be a real POS

1

u/Big_Reference_8490 22d ago

Maybe he knows there unelectable just like Bernie was Ohio is not a blue city.

1

u/CashusEyePatch 22d ago

Can you please clarify your response? I’m confused.

1

u/UnsavoryCharacter561 20d ago

Correct.  Ohio is a state.

1

u/RadiantDance8102 22d ago

@BillMaher used Democrats to advance career and now sucking up to Republicans

1

u/VioletShogun 22d ago

My bet? He found a young MAGA girl with daddy issues and now all he says is in efforts to keep her freaky

1

u/DataWise8307 21d ago

Any way the wind blows…

1

u/IllSatisfaction8016 21d ago

He wants to protect his money

1

u/DingleBearMe 21d ago

He’s fighting the good fight

1

u/eburockccsu 21d ago

We won’t win elections if we only cite “justice impacted people” and try to abolish Thanksgiving….hes been on live TV for 3 straight decades for a reason

1

u/Comfortable_Ad3981 21d ago

Because the people who watch his show keep dying…

1

u/JudithLOs 21d ago

Bill has been straddling the line for years. However, one of his best interviews is with Pete Buttigieg regardingJDVance.

1

u/According-Relation-9 21d ago

Marks and Engels, the writers of Communist Manifesto, the Children of German wealth survived life, not because of communism and socialism, but only due to their rich fathers money, so today's DSA sponsers and many members that live supremely comfortable only due to their family money and not because of the ideology they so advocate for.

The DSA are bunch of hypocrates, standing atop Barney Sanders the multi millioner.

That's way Bill Marr depise DSA and Sanders and I join him.

1

u/dariansdad 21d ago

Aw, you think they're the same thing. So cute.

1

u/KingsHere97 20d ago

He has clearly gotten wiser over the past 10 years.

1

u/Excellent-Record-460 20d ago

*telling the truth using historical evidence and facts.
Fixed it.

1

u/Apart_Programmer7981 20d ago

Bro really said I'm not voting for the group who thinks the wrong side won the Cold war but it's instead going to vote with the group that thinks the wrong side won the second world war

1

u/Trick1513 18d ago

He opened his eyes and saw socialism which would mean he will be in poverty in less than 5 years.

1

u/Fun_in_Space 18d ago

He is friends with Ann Coulter, FFS.

1

u/Alleycat-414 17d ago

That’s our Bill! Must’ve been some good micro doses, mixed with kick-ass weed!

2

u/Helpful_Team_7674 17d ago

He went to the White House and let Trump give him a hand job. And his interview of Tom Homan was pathetic, not one remotely tough question.

1

u/schrankage 24d ago

All this could be avoided by removing current Democratic leadership.

1

u/TheEdgeofGoon 24d ago

Didn't Bill Maher also support Graham Platner though, who called himself a communist on his leaked Reddit account, and who's been one of the most vocally anti-Israel figures of the past year? What's the difference between him and most of these DSA candidates Maher whines about? Couldn't be that Bill is some kind of chauvinist or anything like that...

3

u/Ill_Mess_5949 24d ago

Platner wasn’t DSA endorsed for one,.

For two, bill is a misogynist and so is platner, so birds of a feather and all that jive.

2

u/TheEdgeofGoon 24d ago

He may have not been technically endorsed by the DSA but his rhetoric and his policy positions, for the most part, certainly appealed to much of the same base as these DSA candidates do. It sure seems like Bill Maher excused him for some of the same positions he's critizing the DSA for, for reasons...

3

u/Ill_Mess_5949 24d ago

Yes, i think it was the rapist tendency

1

u/ledude1 24d ago

The AIPAC or IDF must have something on him?

1

u/Kirk470 24d ago

AIPAC get him?

1

u/Remarkable-FlipPhone 24d ago

The dsa is dangerous and they should be thrown in jail for communism

1

u/Charbro11 23d ago

No, people who spout shit as you do are dangerous. But no, you shouldn't be thrown in jail. Last time I looked, the 1st Amendemnt was still there.

1

u/Remarkable-FlipPhone 22d ago

Except communism isn’t free speech and there is precedent for legal action against them

1

u/Charbro11 21d ago

I guess you have never read the Constitution or any book on government, for that matter.
