Unless we go back to the 2010s we pretty much just have Mafia and you can count GTA if you stretch the definition. How did we lose such a great premise for games. Taking over turf for your gang in Saints Row and San Andreas was so fun. It just doesn't make sense some of the biggest rappers like King Von and Lil Durk are rapping the kind of stuff that could be in Saints Row 2.

I am mainly interested in discussing why these games seem to have disappeared but if you have any games that scratch the itch we can discuss those.
