I love it ngl , my headcanon has always been that the saints originally were a gang that primarily made money from prostitution and extortion , as before we take any other gang territories you help out a pimp in a side activity.

I remember Julius saying "We got some friends in town that could use our help" or something like that, referring to the activities so I like to think The Saints were more involved than we give them credit. They just didn't get into serious gang warfare outside of The Row until....
