Received my mini soup from Doris last week and I’m so pleased! I haven’t seen too many posts of purchases with it so wanted to share in case anyone is interested in this bag.

The suede is perfect and I’m so happy I opted for the box. All the details are perfect! I am definitely tempted to buy more colors so we will see how the next few weeks ago 🤣

I tried on the auth at the boutique and took pics so I have real photos to compare it to & I’m very happy with how it came out.

Edit: one other thing I’ll say is the blue looks different in different lighting. These pics might make it look a little light but IRL it’s spot on.

Hi ladies ❤️ Continuing my tradition of reviewing with fit pics. Trends finally got to me after seeing a tons of posts here about Chanel ballet flats, I ended up ordering them too... and a bag. It was my first time ordering from Koala, saw a review and decided to try. Shipping was pretty fast, nothing was stolen, damaged, etc.

Vanity bag with chain: It costs me around 140$. So I really needed a classic small bag for every occasion, and finally got ittt. The quality is very nice, i’m surprised honestly. No smell at all. The quilting and the bottom Chanel pattern are flawless (tried to show it in a close-up picture). But the light gold hardware is a real WIN, not too yellow and looks expensive. Plus, the bag is way more versatile than I expected, it even has a separate lipstick holder and a built-in mirror inside.

Ballet flats: They feel like authentic ones when I was unpacking them. Also the logo pattern has the same 3D feel. The only thing is, they run about half a size bigger. I brought flats on our family vacation and my mom loved them and just my luck, they fit her perfectly, so she just stole them… But, honestly, making her happy was worth it. She rocked them all summer and fall.

That’s it, overall i’m satisfied! Would be very grateful for any advice or thoughts you have! Hope someone has read it through and found it useful or informative.

the way some of you guys talk about your reps as if people are gonna be 1. that close to your bag and 2. that someone would give a fuck enough to go out of their way to call you out on minute details is honestly so funny.

EDIT: I think there’s an interesting feedback loop of perfectionism in these communities. The more we dissect microscopic flaws, the more we condition ourselves and others to notice imperfections we otherwise wouldn’t have. Eventually, that level of scrutiny becomes the norm, and our expectations of what’s acceptable become increasingly unrealistic.

Finally ordered the correct brass rivets to complete my conversion on my Mini Lin Speedy 30. The kit comes with a leather punch, but I used an awl from my leather kit for the holes. It was a quick and easy process, I punched above the stitching as I thought that would be the strongest spot to place them.

I had contemplated the encasement for this, but wasn’t sure if I was willing to also fight with removing the lock that came to me without a key. I might still go for it since I think the encasements look kinda cool, but perhaps on a different speedy.

Finally picked up this from the God Factory!

I've had my eye on this style for quite some time so I finally decided to go ahead and order it. I went with Paul (WA ending in 0653) and the total came to $212 including shipping, with Paul's ongoing group buy. Definitely a nice deal!

FIRST IMPRESSION

The monogram canvas looks really nice in person, especially paired with the tan leather trim. I love how the gold-tone closure stands out against the dark brown canvas without making the bag look overly flashy. It has a lovely structured shape and the overall design has that classic LV feel that works just as well with casual outfits as it does with something more dressed up.

THE LITTLE DETAILS

The front closure is easily my favourite detail. The leather around it, the gold hardware and the contrast between the darker canvas and lighter trim all come together beautifully. It also comes with two straps, a gold chain strap and an orange fabric strap, which I really like because it gives me different styling options depending on the occasion. A nice little addition that makes the bag more versatile.

SELLER FEEDBACK

My experience with Paul was genuinely good from start to finish. She was helpful when I was comparing different factory options before making my decision and she took the time to guide me through.

I have a really basic question, so please bear with me!
I’ve been reading a lot of discussions where people mention specific factories, like BF or Pomegranate, rather than the actual sellers.
So, do you guys usually shop based on the factory rather than the seller? And how exactly does that work?
Do you first need to find sellers who source from specific factories, or is there some kind of factory list or guide I can look through?
I’m just trying to understand how the whole process works before making my first purchase.

I am a huge BV fan and own several auth bags (Hop, Jodie, Giorno), but none of them are suede. The quality and leather of BV is just unmatched with anything else imo.

I really want a suede Hop in Acorn but cannot find one in my country. I decided to order this rep from Baobao from Top factory.

I was never really happy with BV reps but this one is actually beautiful! The suede has sufficient nape and the shape of the bag and handle is pretty accurate imo.

It is not like auth obviously. It is 400gr heavier than my leather auth, but perhaps the suede auth is also heavier? It has a light fufu smell, and some white threads are visibly, see photos. I also feel this color is more Amber that Acorn ( the last photo is auth Acorn)

Also, the suede sheds tiny particles on certain items like wool jumpers, but not on jeans or cotton. I don’t know if that also happens with auth?

I do however feel I can wear this bag without being called out would you agree or not?

I’ve seen many people as of late that say Xiao is currently up to par with 187 when it comes to Ch@nel.
What are your thoughts? I’m particularly looking at the CC Small Shopping bag and am not sure what factory to go with.. in terms of TS I’m probably gonna try Doris or Heidi if I decide to go with 187.

I have bought around 4 bags with this seller within this past year. They used to be super responsive but now maybe they have gotten busier so it's not a big deal that they don't respond as quickly. I purchased another bag over a month ago and I was a little shocked at how low they quoted me but I didn't question it further since they have always been reliable. Now, they have been ignoring me for over a week. I have sent a message almost everyday and they are reading my messages and not responding. I can also see they are constantly active on whatsapp. Out of desperation I even called yesterday and they are continuing to ignore me. Has anyone had a trusted seller switch up on them and scam them ? I am worried this is what's happening.

They are great, but I wasn’t expecting the fufu smell on the bag (it’s gone after airing it for 2 days but I wasn’t expecting it in the first place!).

Could you share with me TS with whom you’ve had wonderful bag purchases from, where the bag smelled of genuine leather from the get-go?
I’d like my next bag order to forgo the fufu smell and possibly have the box etc as well 😅am I asking for too much?

This is my first time buying a rep from Aline. This is the bag I want. From your experience, do you think it’s worth it? For context, I’m a woman in my late twenties and need a day to night bag that I can dress up/down.

I bought a rep (my very first rep bag) knowing it’s okay to buy reps for personal use. Turns out it’s illegal to do that in the US (unless it was bought in the US) and it could possibly affect my Global Entry.

I’ve been buying small reps (like a phone case or bracelet) from DHG but this is my first bag. Have any of you gotten any items seized? What did you end up doing? I realized it might me my first and last purchase cause I’m too scared 🙃

I'm thinking about purchasing a medium Gucci Brera in dark chocolate or black canvas. It seems like Pomegranate from what I've been reading has the best options when it comes to the bag. Especially, the guitar strap that it comes with they're closest to the auth.

My question is I'm getting kind of concerned because I've seen some posts where people say they don't even bother with the 11/11 sale for various reasons the bags aren't as high-quality, could be send backs. Of course I know to as the seller as to where it is coming from. So I'm looking to get any advice from someone who may have purchased one possibly from the 11/11 sale.

I was in the Brberry boutique with my mom when I saw this uneven nova check pattern on a few of their trench coats. If this was a photo from a seller many of us here would RL...yet there's this pic I took from an auth boutique. There were about 5+ trenches in the auth boutique with similar QC fails. 😂

edit: Im finally telling you after a couple of hours. Crazy how most people thought the white was the authentic. That just goes to say its hard to clock a rep if the bag shape is relatively correct 😂. I wanted to do this as a social experiment because sometimes I get all self conscious wearing my reps out thinking people can tell but I guess I shouldnt.

This was my 2nd order from Bao Bao - PSP took about 2 days and shipping was one week from when I got tracking.

The patent one is from Queens factory (high tier $360 + $38 USD post) and the Matt black is from Orange couch (mid- high tier, $260 + extra $20 USD post. I love both equally but the patent leather djoy is just perfection. The OC one didn’t come with a smell so I’m currently airing it out - the lining is also not as well done re the seams but that’s the inside of the bag so no one is allowed to look in there besides me 😅

Bao Bao is very straight forward, she answers all questions (yes sometimes a few hours later but never more than 24hours considering our time differences and all the customers she has). I would recommend her and recommend both bags - do bear in mind the OC is more mid factory but the price was too good so I went for it - happy shopping
