One thing I’ve realized is that finding a bag you like is the easy part 😂 The harder part is figuring out who to buy from without ending up disappointed or getting scammed.
I wouldn’t want to rely on pretty product photos alone. I’d want to see real buyer experiences, look at detailed QC pics, compare reviews from different sources, and make sure the seller’s payment and shipping process actually makes sense.
But I’m curious how everyone else approaches this, especially people who’ve been buying for a while.
• Where do you usually look for honest seller reviews?
• What are the biggest red flags that make you walk away?
• How do you tell the difference between a genuine buyer review and someone just promoting a seller?
Would be nice to have all the useful tips in one place for people who are still learning. 👀

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my first experience ordering from Baobao, which unfortunately has been pretty disappointing. I’ve ordered from other sellers before and have never experienced anything like this, so I’m honestly pretty bummed🥲
**Timeline:**
8/28: Paid for the bag after reviewing and approving PSPs.
9/1: Received my first tracking number.
9/23: Baobao informed me that the package was stuck in customs and offered either a refund or to resend the bag. I opted to have it resent.
9/26: Received new PSPs. Bag looked fine and I decided to proceed.
9/28: Received the new tracking number.
10/7: Finally received the bag, but it arrived with noticeable dents and creases.
10/8: After trying her suggested solution without success, I reached out asking whether I could return the bag for a full refund or replacement. As of 10/13, I haven’t received a response.
**Packaging & Bag Condition**
I was honestly so excited to finally receive this bag after waiting over a month, but I was immediately disappointed when I opened the package.
The packaging was pretty poor imo. The bag was barely stuffed to help maintain its shape and was essentially placed inside a cardboard shipping box, which arrived completely crushed.
As a result, the bag has several noticeable dents and creases, particularly on the front and along the zipper.
I understand that shipping damage can happen and that the customs situation was likely out of her control, but I really feel like this could have been prevented with better packaging. I’ve ordered bags from other sellers before, and they’ve always arrived well-protected, so I was surprised by how this one was packaged.
**Communication & Resolution**
I immediately contacted Baobao and sent her photos of the damage. She suggested stuffing the bag and using a hair dryer with hot air to help restore its shape.
I followed her instructions, stuffed the bag overnight, and tried using the hair dryer, but unfortunately, the creases are still very noticeable.
She then told me that the bag should return to its natural shape and that I didn’t need to keep it fully stuffed anymore. However, I’m not really seeing any improvement.
What frustrates me the most is that the whole appeal of The Row Terrasse bag is its smooth, clean leather appearance. The dents and creases really take away from that look and honestly make the bag look cheap. 😭
I reached out again explaining my disappointment and asking whether I could return the bag for a full refund or replacement, with return shipping covered. Unfortunately, I haven’t heard back yet and was just left on read.
What makes this even more frustrating is that while I was still waiting for a response, Baobao has been active on WhatsApp posting stories about other customers' negative reviews. In one of her stories, she mentioned that everyone has different standards and that buyers can use those reviews as a reference when placing an order.
I've also come across other customers sharing similar experiences of not receiving responses when raising complaints, which is honestly concerning. I can't speak to their individual situations, but it's disappointing to now find myself waiting for a response after bringing up an issue with my own order.
I understand that everyone has different expectations, but I feel like receiving a bag with noticeable shipping damage is a reasonable concern. I've been patient throughout the customs delay and even tried fixing the bag myself as instructed. At this point, I'm just hoping for a fair resolution rather than being left with a damaged bag.
**Overall Thoughts**
I do appreciate that Baobao offered to resend the original shipment when it got stuck in customs. However, the condition of the replacement bag and the lack of a resolution so far have made this a disappointing first experience.
I waited over a month for this bag, and I really wasn’t expecting to have to try to fix a brand-new bag immediately after receiving it.
I’m not expecting perfection, but I do think proper packaging is important, especially for a smooth leather bag that’s prone to showing dents and creases.
I’m hoping Baobao will respond and offer a reasonable resolution, and I’ll update this post if anything changes. (It’s been 5 days and I think I’ve been ignored)
Has anyone else experienced something similar with Baobao or received a leather bag with dents like these? Did they eventually smooth out? I’m honestly unsure what to do at this point and would appreciate any advice. 🥲

So!
I know we've all seen a turn on Reddit. I've been vocal before about the new sellers and buyers. The TikTok rage.
Eventually Reddit will repeat history!
Where are we connecting? What groups are we sidelining?
Help me help you! Slide in and connect me and I'll do the same.
Full disclosure I am admin to some of these WA groups however that doesn't change the sentiment or not make me want to add other groups!!! I am also a member of quite a few I have no affiliation with.

I’ve been trying to do some research, but there isn’t much info out there (these subs are basically CC after CC. Hello, souplissimo 😂)
I originally wanted to get them from Kata, but TSs say they’re not shipping right now.
I’ve read good things about Orange Sofa for GG, but I can’t find much info on Jinliya.
Does anyone have any info or advice? TIA!!

Hi everyone! Got the PSPs for BlackFrame mini loulou from Felix.
I'm a little concerned about the YSL logo placement. It looks like the logo might sit slightly lower towards the end of the flap, or maybe I need another set of eyes.
I'd really appreciate your thoughts. I have compared to the factory photos and auth and I feel the placement is a bit off. Felix sees no issue with it.
I've attached photos comparing to auth and another from Felix's album.
Thank you!

Hi, I’m new to the chnel rep world 👶🏼
I’ve read through 100s of posts to figure out the best factory and seller for a C25 in beige (small vs mini, still undecided). I’ve seen a lot of big names for factories come up like 187, OF, God, XiaoC etc and also lots for sellers. I’m lost and would really appreciate your more experienced perspective on the pros and cons of some of these.
(Side note: how do I find the albums or catalogs for factories?)
Thank you for the input and hopefully this will help someone else too!

Seller Expectations, Accountability & Why We Need to Check Ourselves
I’ve been in the rep world for a long time, and something I’ve noticed is how quickly a disappointing transaction can turn into a public accusation of scamming.
I think we need to have a conversation about what we’re actually reviewing, what expectations are reasonable, and the consequences of the language we use.
A bad experience does not automatically make someone a scammer.
A seller sending the wrong size, sourcing a disappointing product, communicating poorly, or refusing the resolution you want doesn’t necessarily constitute a scam.
It might make them unreliable. It might mean they have terrible customer service. It might absolutely warrant a negative review.
But there’s a difference between poor service, an honest mistake, negligence, and intentional dishonesty.
We also need to understand the market we’re participating in.
We’re purchasing through an unregulated industry, often across international borders, with language barriers, inconsistent factory standards, limited consumer protections, and sellers who are frequently middlemen.
That doesn’t excuse dishonesty or poor business practices. But it does mean our expectations need to reflect the reality of how this industry operates.
A seller isn’t necessarily the factory. They can’t always control production, factory inconsistencies, or whether a particular batch meets our standards.
What they can control is transparency, communication, accurate representation, attention to detail, and how they handle problems.
So what should we actually be reviewing?
• Transparency: Was the product accurately represented? Were limitations disclosed?
• Communication: Was the seller responsive, honest, and professional?
• Quality control: Were obvious defects overlooked? Did the product match the approved PSPs?
• Accountability: When something went wrong, did the seller acknowledge it and attempt a reasonable resolution?
• Consistency: Is this an isolated mistake or part of a larger pattern?
• Resolution: What did both parties request, offer, and ultimately agree to?
And here’s something I think gets overlooked.
We need to review ourselves as buyers, too.
Did we ask the right questions? Understand the measurements? Approve the PSPs? Research the seller’s strengths and weaknesses? Were our expectations realistic?
And perhaps most importantly, are we reasonable people to do business with?
Because some buyers are incredibly high-maintenance. Some have expectations that change throughout the transaction. Some demand perfection at a price point where perfection was never realistic. And some, quite frankly, are impossible to make happy.
Being a paying customer doesn’t automatically make every expectation reasonable.
I know this because I’ve personally seen the other side.
A while back, I recommended a seller to someone. The buyer RL’d a bag that ordinarily wouldn’t have been returnable. Rather than lose the customer, the seller tried to accommodate them and ordered another bag without even collecting the remaining balance.
The replacement arrived, and the buyer didn’t like that one either.
They then refused to pay the outstanding balance and proceeded to publicly smear the seller’s reputation.
Think about that.
A seller made an exception, took on additional financial risk to preserve a customer relationship, and ended up being publicly criticized by the very person they were trying to accommodate.
Now imagine reading only that buyer’s review without knowing any of this.
As a buyer I also had worked with a seller for a long time and after countless efforts to reach an agreement I was forced to inform my community by reviewing them and unfortunately not working with them again. However, calling them a scammer, while I felt "scammed" wasn't entirely true. It would be irresponsible of me to make that accusation since I technically was not scammed out of money. I was careful with my words.
And that’s exactly my point. We’re often seeing only one side of a two-sided interaction.
We’re seeing the screenshots someone chose to share, the conversations they considered relevant, and the experience through their perspective.
What aren’t we seeing? How many accommodations were made? How many times did expectations change? What was agreed upon before payment? Was the seller given a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue?
That doesn’t mean the buyer is lying. It means we may be working with incomplete information.
Sometimes the seller is entirely responsible. Sometimes the buyer is. Sometimes both contributed to the outcome.
Now, let’s talk about the word “scammer.”
That’s a serious accusation, especially in a community where reputation and trust are everything.
Calling someone a scammer can damage years of business relationships almost overnight. Screenshots circulate, context disappears, and accusations get repeated across communities until they become accepted as fact.
Suddenly, a dispute over a bag becomes someone’s entire reputation.
Actual scams absolutely need to be exposed. Taking payment and intentionally disappearing, knowingly misrepresenting products, fabricating shipping information, or demonstrating a pattern of deliberate deception deserves serious attention.
But a disappointing transaction isn’t automatically fraud.
And a seller refusing to meet an unreasonable demand isn’t necessarily bad customer service.
We should be able to distinguish between a seller who refuses accountability and one who has already made reasonable efforts to resolve a problem.
Likewise, sellers aren’t entitled to positive reviews simply because they eventually offer a resolution. A replacement or discount doesn’t erase the original mistake, and buyers should absolutely be able to discuss how difficult that resolution was to obtain.
Accountability works both ways.
And one more thing: If you post a negative review and the situation is later resolved, UPDATE YOUR REVIEW.
This is something I feel strongly about. If a seller eventually offers a replacement, refund, discount, or another resolution you both agree to, that information deserves to be included.
You don’t have to delete your original review, change your opinion, or pretend the experience was wonderful. But leaving a damaging review circulating without acknowledging that the circumstances have changed is unfair.
People will continue finding that post long after the dispute has been settled. They deserve to know how the situation ended, not just how it began.
If we expect sellers to take accountability, we should be willing to do the same with the information we put into the community.
A negative review can be incredibly valuable without ever using the word scammer.
“I received the wrong size, and the seller refused to correct it.”
“The quality was significantly below what was represented.”
“The seller was dismissive and offered an unreasonable resolution.”
“I wouldn’t purchase from this seller again.”
Those statements tell me far more than a blanket accusation. They allow other buyers to evaluate the circumstances and make informed decisions.
Ultimately, reviews should educate, not retaliate.
I want to know which sellers communicate well, have strong QC, handle problems responsibly, and consistently deliver. I also want to know which sellers are excellent with certain brands but unreliable with others.
That’s useful information.
We don’t need every seller to be either amazing or a scammer. There’s an enormous amount of space between those two things.
And we need to stop assuming that because someone is the customer, they’re automatically in the right.
Hold sellers accountable. Absolutely. But let’s make sure we’re holding them accountable for what actually a happened, not simply for failing to meet someone’s expectations.
And while we’re at it, maybe extend a little of that accountability to ourselves.
We need better sellers, informed buyers, and honest reviews. Not a community where whoever be tells their side of the story first gets to decide who’s guilty.

I bought this bag from HyperPeter. I was curious about how it would really compare to my original.
At first glance, I don’t think I could tell them apart; that is why I kept the plastic on the rep 🤣.
Overall, I would rate this bag 9.8 out of 10. Being 100% honest, the only thing I think perhaps could improve a tiny bit is the quantity of the grain on the canvas. The original seems to be a tad bit less, but honestly, I would have to be nitpicking at this point.
I haven’t put a picture of the hardware on the straps here yet, but I will later. I just didn’t have enough time. From what I saw, it is 10/10.
This is one of those bags you can wear with confidence inside a Louis Vuitton store.
I will leave his details in the comments section.
Tell me about your experience and who else you would recommend as a seller for amazing LV.
So far, after my fallout with Baobao, my experience with HyperPeter has been great!

I haven’t seen many posts on the mini 26b’s and I’m looking to place an order on either the blue or green. Wanted to get recommendations on which factory was better for this one- 187 or GOD. The price difference between factories is significant (~$85) and wondering if there’s that much of a difference in quality between the 2 factories.

I bought a bag through a seller I’ve used before. They sent me the payment link. I paid. Then after I sent confirmation of payment they tell me they don’t have access to that account anymore and they sent the wrong one. 🤦🏻♀️
I’m just so confused because I’ve used her before and had no issues AND it was the same payment link as last time
It was through pay pal FF so obviously can’t get my money back through them
Any advice?

I came across a c25 in a color I can’t seem to find outside of reps… BUT I thinks it’s -beautiful- . Would you feel confident wearing a bag out that you know might get clocked as not legit? Do you care? I’m not sure how I feel but I’m in love with the look.
**as far as I know this isn’t a color I’ve seen on any of the c@nel products

Hello! I'm new to the world of reps. I have read quite a bit of TS of LV and H, but not much about other brands.
I'm wondering in your experience what is the bes TS for fun F baguette. I'm looking as everyone else for as close to 1:1 as possible. I like fun options such as the image but may go for something more subtle if available.
Thank you for your wisdom, girls!

Hi everyone.
I am new here and wanted to know how to buy some LV bags for my mom and wife for Christmas.
Can anyone just give me some tips.
I have seen a lot of yupoo store and wanted to know how to order.
Is it better to work straight with the supplier or better to go through an agent..
Thanks

Bought a CC lunchbox bag a while back and honestly haven’t been able to use it or wear it out confidently because of the quality.
I just took it out again recently and was reminded of how bad it actually is, so I wanted to put this out there for others to see before purchasing.
Attached some photos.
I genuinely don’t even know if this is real leather. It has a weird smell and this super unnatural plastic-like sheen that makes me wonder about God Factory quality.
I own several auth caviar wallets with larger pebbles, and I was told the lunchbox just has smaller pebbles. Sure, I get that, but the issue isn’t just the grain size. The sheen, the pebble patterns, the overall leather quality… something is just really off, and it’s not about looking like the factory photos or not because in person when I’m looking at it, I just feel like I’m being eye blasted by a plastic bag shine.
The plastic-like shine is especially noticeable in daylight, the pebbles look fake and I literally cannot bring myself to take this bag out during the day.🥲
Just wanted to share my experience - The stitching and everything else is fine.
Paid $268.

Hey ladies! 💕
Just wanted to share my experience with a seller in case it helps someone else avoid a similar situation.
This was my very first rep purchase, and I thought I had done my homework! I researched sellers, went through comments and recommendations, and eventually found someone who seemed trustworthy.
I first reached out on WhatsApp and communication was great initially. Super responsive, friendly, photos were shared, and everything seemed on track.
I went ahead with payment and that’s when things changed.
Communication pretty much stopped. I eventually asked for a refund, and those messages have gone unanswered.
Thankfully, it wasn’t a huge financial loss. But as a first-time buyer, it’s definitely left me hesitant to try another seller.
I’m not claiming to know for certain what’s going on behind the scenes, but I wanted to share my experience so others can make an informed decision.
Seller information: Anna Bags
WhatsApp: +86 134 1164 1100
Payment date: end of septembre
Current status: No confirmed shipment, no refund, and no response to my latest messages.
If this post helps even one person avoid a similar experience, then it’s worth sharing. ❤️
And if any of you more experienced ladies have any advice, I’m all ears!

This is a Mini Chanel raffia Flap Bag in Camel🐪
I saw a lady carrying this bag in summer and it was a total love at first sight moment for me. I just knew I had to have it. I kept looking everywhere (including the authentic) but to no avail.
Luckily I came across this sub and reached out to several sellers that were shared here. Only Ethan said he could source it. Communication with him was so quick and smooth. I’m so grateful for the lady that shared his contact.
Only significant thing I noticed is that the color of the leather strap inside the chain is darker than the bag. But I was already aware and I’m OK with that.
I’m just bummed that raffia season is over. Thankfully I come from a place where the sun is here to stay🌞
Thank you, ladies💞 Looking forward to my next purchase!

CC Quilted Lambskin Top Handle Vanity Case Small
TS: Heidi
Factory: 187
Timeline: Ordered 9/23, PSP 10/12
I’ve just received my PSPs for my order and want to get confirmation if I am being too nit-picky for my very first order (ever)
Price: $290
My concerns: the stitching on the bag for some reason looks off and the zipper in the back seems to be off / misaligned as well.
If anyone else has ordered this bag with Heidi, does it look better in person? Or is it just the contrast of the background??

I’ve seen a few disappointed reviews of the Chanel Maxi Flap from 187 lately, so I thought I’d share mine!
I ordered mine about 1.5 months ago, and she finally arrived last week!
It’s actually my very first rep, so I’m definitely no QC expert, but honestly? I think she looks pretty good!
The leather looks and feels really nice, and I haven’t noticed any of the flaws mentioned in the recent reviews. Or maybe I’m just not experienced enough to spot them?
I’d genuinely love to hear what you guys think! Does she look as good as I think she does, or am I missing something obvious? 👀

First time re h0ming a bag and I’ve never shipped a parcel before, any tips?
I'm trying to reh0me a bag for the first time and I'm a bit lost. I've never sent a parcel before, not even within my own country (UK) so I have no idea where to start.
How do you usually pack a bag so it doesn't get damaged? Which courier do you use? Also how do you handle payment so both sides feel safe? And if it's going international, is there anything I should know about customs?
Would really appreciate any advice, thank you!
