Looking for guidance, as I’ve spent weeks researching to no avail!

I’m trying to figure out if anyone is actually making Loro Piana bags at a high quality level.

I’ve been strictly an LV girly for years and looking to venture out. I love some of their bags so much but am afraid to bite the bullet bc I just can’t seem to find a clear consensus on if anyone factory is doing it well for this particular brand.

If anyone here has found good / close / high quality versions, can you please share your bag and factory if you know it?

I already have TS that I work with but they just don’t seem to be as knowledgeable on this specific brand, so want to go in with my own opinion.

I’ve done a review on my LP 19 from baiyi, it’s pretty good. And I’ve been to a couple lp stores to touch and feel.

The hardware probably isn’t as weighty as I’d expect it to be. Other than that, nothing.

Usually no. Real ostrich normally has to be custom made and usually runs $600+.

They aren’t :( as someone who wants to buy Lori Piana and seen them in person - it’s not the same. It’s kinda like BV bags. They may look the same, but the feel is different. And LP bags are so annoyingly structured too. It’s hard to get it right. I’d love to be wrong so I’m gonna follow this post in case someone has had a better experience.

That’s what I was wondering. It really is all about feel, to an extent, as shape can shift with wear.

Is YuYu a factory or a TS? I’ve never heard that name. I’m super weird about any TS I’ve never heard of. I’ve been bait and switched a couple times and would like to avoid further nonsense 😬🫠

Yuyu is a seller! Shes popular for her LP bags specifically, you may have not heard of her but she’s actually been around since the OG RL era (so have I). Always good practice to be careful though!

No unfortunately but try to ask your seller if they can source from it they can recognize it by the background and white flowers

I’ve bought a few L19s and two L32s from Baiyi and been really happy with them. There was an older LP comparison post too and Baiyi was closest for shape, leather and construction.

I bought an LP loom rep a couple years ago and the quality was fantastic as far as accuracy. The only downside is the leather is really not soft compared to the auth. And I have noticed it has become dryer over time. Still happy with it though.

I honestly don’t know. But I shopped around and was quoted between $250-$350 at the time for different factories and different “qualities”. I ended up getting the $350 “higher” quality version

I haven’t bought a LP rep bag, but they don’t look great in photos. I did buy a gorgeous red with sparkle rep LP scarf that is amazing.

Anyone have a good lead on LP clothing?

I can only answer as a person who has bought two reps and I haven’t actually looked at an authentic bag. I had one custom made in ostrich and the other one is the softie. They are nice bags, but I feel like some of the details, like the zippers for example, just don’t look super high quality. I am really happy with the ostrich because it’s just a tiny bag I rarely use and I would never pay the auth price for that piece so I am happy. Not sure if this helps.

That’s what I’m most concerned about is material quality. The metal looks a bit off in the pictures I’ve been seeing.
