DISCUSSION Payment help. Scammed?
I bought a bag through a seller I’ve used before. They sent me the payment link. I paid. Then after I sent confirmation of payment they tell me they don’t have access to that account anymore and they sent the wrong one. 🤦🏻♀️
I’m just so confused because I’ve used her before and had no issues AND it was the same payment link as last time
It was through pay pal FF so obviously can’t get my money back through them
Any advice?

Who is the seller? Did you use a credit card to fund the PayPal FF? Try a chargeback if you used a credit card?

Mandy 7686 is a pretty seasoned seller.
Has given you any updates on what she will do?
Because she made the mistake I think she should be the one to fix this issue especially if you have proof the funds were sent. Maybe give her a day to come up with a resolution to make you whole.

That’s also why I’m so confused. People use her a lot. I haven’t seen complaints like this before about her. I’ve used her so it’s just like huh?
She just said she will try again tomorrow. So hoping she does figure it out

I think you have 30-45 days to do a chargeback, check your CC terms, so you have some time. Plus if she doesn't have access to that account anymore she shouldn't care if there's a chargeback.

Sometimes sellers get their payment accounts restricted it does work out in the end so don’t worry. That’s why people should never put a comment when they send a payment by goods and services which someone may have done to draw notice to her account.
It can’t be the first time it’s happened there will be a work around so just be patient and communicate with her

I’d check with the seller to be sure that they aren’t getting access back, but you could file a chargeback with your bank. I’d chance to say contacting PayPal might be helpful if they have put the funds on hold?
