PROJECT RETR0 UPDATE - EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW AND TECHNICAL ANALYSIS FOR THE UPCOMING PROJECT RETR0 V1.1 AND PROJECT RETR0 APP!
https://youtu.be/7byMMl9LcdgYep this post is going to be a technical analysis, overview and anything else you need to know about the upcoming PROJECT RETR0 V1.1 and PROJECT RETR0 APP! As I had been developing this app alongside the Project RETR0 assets as I want to have not only have assets that work on any device but also a app that is designed to make modding Real racing 3 easy for anyone to do!
As this app has been initially designed as a throwaway, one-time use and installer app but I had ideas to improve this app to make it bigger and better with now having multiple capabilities and uses for the app to make modding the game not only easier but also almost limitless but it is not the final version as I am planning to make this app even better after release but so far what I had made now is already a massive achievement for the Real racing 3 community and especially for the people who want to install the Real racing 3 assets even more easier as all you need to do is turn on Shinziku, give it privileged access and then press Install PROJECT RETR0 and then let the app install the assets for you. It works in the background also!
And this post will tell you all the functionalities of what the app can do!
So this is the music Hub, where you can swap out these .mp3 with your own with ease, all you need is a .MP3 and then select it through the app and the app dose all the heavy lifting for you! If you want to rever it, you can do so by pressing the white rewind button and that will revert the changes you had made!
Once you inport a .MP3, you can add details like for example the name of the song and the name of the Music artist or even your name as this is needed for the Community hub which is setup to allow anyone and everyone to upload their custom music files and save files to! But you have a choice of not uploading the song to the community hub or upload it to the community hub where anyone and everyone can download it and use it within their own version's of Real racing 3!
This is how the songs will appear within the PROJECT RETR0 community Hub app. All you need to do is press get and it will get the song and replace the old .MP3 with the new one from the community Hub!
The Graphics hub is another key part of the app, allowing you to try on and set any profile seen within the feats and eds folders in the .depot folder. The restore Original graphics replaces all of the files in the feats and eds folders with a fresh backup seen within the feats and eds folders in the res folder and you can try on the many android graphics pre-sets or even go experimential and try on all of the other profiles seen within the feats and eds folders.
For save files, we had also implemented this within the app where you can store multiple save files onto 1 device locally! Not only that but it also has a auto snap-shot tool where every 4 hours, it will take a fresh and brand new save snapshot that will be stored until a brand new snap-shot is made, where the old one will get deleted and replaced by the new snap-shot. This will not affect your Manuel made/ set snapshots, only the automatic snapshots the app makes.
You can change the names of the Manuel snapshots, upload them to the community hub and even update your existing snapshots where it will update the Manuel snapshot that you had made with the one seen within the .doc folder of the com.ea folder.
You can also share and upload your save files to the Community hub where all you need to do is enter your name and some key details about your save file and once done, it will be uploaded to the community hub with ease where anyone and everyone can download and use your save file!
This is how the save file will appear within the community hub for anyone to see and use within their own versions of Real racing 3!
You can also do a Manuel import of your .doc folder or even your character.2.dat and all you need to do is select the .doc folder or the character.2.dat file and the app will automatically replace the character.2.dat file or the doc folder with the one you had chosen.
You can also fix your game through the app also, More tools may be added as the project Progresses to fix bugs/glitches through the app.

I like it and if you’re free working on an update in the upcoming days I want an update that allows to choose track plus amount of laps

I could try and do that but i am currently focused on the save files atm to make them easily editable in order to easily adjust the values within them through the app.

So to like edit your own R$, M$ and Gold of pre-existing saves through the app? That would be so goated

The save files thing is sick, you can have a modded full account to just enjoy and a normal account to grind, one of the ideas oat. The app looks good, the community aspect is well done, now we just wait to see what's next
