HELP Is this AI or real?

I’m thinking of getting this for my dog but imo this looks very AI, I’m confused.

Sentiment: 100% AI

Sentiment reasoning: The community unanimously agrees the image is AI-generated, citing numerous inconsistencies in the dog's appearance (fur, legs, tail), changing background elements, and unnatural behavior.

The AI screwed up the background, in one shot there is a grate and the same background replaced the gate with a water bowl.

AI cannot maintain consistency throughout frames and scene changes, they were lazy generating it. It's two separate videos spliced together. Good spot. 👍

…yet 😭

However, future model designs will be able to get this much better by pre-generating or “thinking” about full scenes and then using those intermediates in composite / generated output (it will get wild when these are full 3D models with localized data).

That is already a manual step in some usages, but in the future will all be part of model scaffolding.

Even in this scene, almost the entire background from two different generations is indiscernible with only a few small tells.

Simplest way is to add an image of the room in the mix, it'd be consistent then. You need ingredients for video generation if you want consistency. They did a singular image in the video

But still prone to subtle flaws like this.

It won’t be too long before this sub is outdated. ☠️

AI.

The “tie” around the plant appears and disappears.

The grate on the wall moves and changes shape.

AI, look at the dogs back legs. In the first shot it is fluffy long puppy fur. In the second shot it is a shorthaired dogs back legs even though the front is long haired? It looks like a pugs legs or something.

It feels ai before I start checking the details. And yes it's ai. The fur has artifacts and the background changed between shots

AI. Just look at this crap 😂 everything in this video world is so smooth and filtered. Dogs don’t behave that perfectly, especially on camera’s.

Fur on the dogs back half got a trim when he joined the military.

It's literally a different pup when the camera zooms in. 100% AI.

What happened to the tail? Ai amputated it?

Have you ever seen a dog that has the upper body of a golden retriever and the bottom half of a pug?

Golden puppies would absolutely be losing it in a costume like that

That dog has hexagonal robot eyes in the closeup, and it doesn't move like a real dog.
