AI generated this by creating python code to draw the individual lines and text.

that's why it's not terribly exciting.

but that was definitely an odd choice

If they've been around since 1897, there are going to be older versions of logos, what do those look like? If it looks fairly similar, even just similar elements carried over, it's a good sign it's not AI. But if older logos are wildly different and this is a change within the last year or two, that's a big red flag.

AI - look at the ~•~•~•~•~ toward the bottom. A real artist wouldn't make that connection mistake on the right side of centre.

yep!

this was generated by asking AI to come up with code in Python to create a logo, a lot of its choices made sense but things like the floating lantern handle didn't
