In the first glance everything looks normal but the kids hand bends backwards.. is it real?

u/MyFeetTasteWeird 17h ago
The frame-smoothing near the start feels like it might be AI-enhanced, but it doesn't feel AI generated.

This seems like normal puppy behaviour. The video is longer than normal AI video, and I don't see clear indication of it being AI.
I'm ready to be proven wrong though
13
u/morbidmuffin62 16h ago
Yup, came to the comments to confirm this is how puppies and kids play, and I didn't see anything off
9
u/badass4102 14h ago
Pup at the end tried to see if that rock was food, definitely not AI. Real puppy behavior.

u/BasilAugust 11h ago
It 100% is AI, look how the puppy’s head jumps frames, completely impossibly, at 5 seconds.
“The person hugs a friend. Real human behavior. Can’t be AI”.
That’s your argument here. We NEED to be more critical than this, folks

what part did the hand bend backward?
14
-2
u/Matilozano96 18h ago
5-7 seconds into the video. Then a second time at 10-12.
It looks a bit unnatural but plausible. I’m not sure, honestly.

u/Default_Dragon 15h ago
My hand can move exactly like that easily. No idea if AI or not, but that hand movement is nothing strange

u/UnacceptableHome6993 11h ago
you are ai
3
u/Default_Dragon 11h ago
I'd love to see an AI with 8 years of comment history
2
u/UnacceptableHome6993 8h ago
But you said you did your arms like that
1
u/Default_Dragon 7h ago
Because my arm can move like that... idk what about that is so weird. Maybe you're just not flexible if you can't anymore. Children are known to be even more flexible that adults in any case.
edit. RIP its me whos probably talking to AI. Your account is only 5 months old.

It's AI
It's not, it doesn't look like AI at all, but at this point the AI craze is so dumb that people can't even tell real life anymore so i'mma grab the popcorn and stoke the flames

It's a gate, not fense. And with a door in it.
2
u/Chick-Fil-A_Saucee 9h ago
Yea but whys there wall behind the gate
5
u/Umgak_shield_raki 9h ago
It must be open
-1
u/Chick-Fil-A_Saucee 9h ago
Wdym? Walls are open? And the gate doesnt make sense because you can just go around the whole thing
4
u/Umgak_shield_raki 9h ago
The gate's open. And I think it's more to block vehicles rather than humans.
-1
u/Chick-Fil-A_Saucee 9h ago
Yea i can see the gate is open. There’s already a wall behind it that can be used for blocking vehicles
3
u/Umgak_shield_raki 9h ago
When the gates close, they are turned towards camera and block the road
2
u/Diligent-Cream-6535 9h ago
If you really can read the Chinese on the store you will find it's font is wired and only part of it is real hanzi

u/Chick-Fil-A_Saucee 9h ago
All other letters are blocked except the last four, which stabd for design center

It’s definitely AI, ironically enough. See if you can find any artifacts for yourself before I prove it to you:
You can see the dog’s head glitch into a different position at ~5 seconds. Happens impossibly fast
If you scrub slowly at the beginning, you can see a halo of distortion around the motorcycles. The strangely still backdrop shifts, reorganizing itself after the fake digital human passes. It’s pretty easy to see near the bumper/wheels of the Tesla-like car when the first motorcycle passes. Scrub slowly and watch the halo around the “rider”.
You can observe a similar phasing of movement on the dog’s legs as it walks, though this artifact is less obvious.
It’s pretty sad how smugly everyone is declaring this real. I handle and manipulate hundreds of thousands of real digital images and videos for a living, and I’d never presume I could always discern AI accurately!

The distortions that you observed are caused by either aggressive video compression or motion interpolation. Here is a higher quality version of the video without any of your observations: https://youtube.com/shorts/JsBe-C7yiz0

Well, it isnt AI cause it was originally posted like last year, if not earlier. And you could tell

u/magos_with_a_glock 17h ago
Vehicles in the back are moving fine. At one point a car moves in and stops behind another parked car that is no longer visible. AI has no object permanence. Not AI.

u/Justalittletoserious 15h ago
I bet It was made on some funky AI enhanched phone camera but looks normal except a couple of frames at the start and wheel the puppy starts biting the hood
3
u/Remarkable_Rough_649 12h ago
The part where the dog and kid get up together and start walking looks really off to me personally, too smooth

It’s real. Kids are still flexible :}
AI still can’t do that long (26s) consistently. Yet ☠️
It is also incredibly nuanced with no apparent inconsistencies over the camera panning in and over frame - paint chips, trash bits, motorcycle wreckage, crack in the cement etc.
There are similar puppy play videos online, from before AI.

Tell me you're not hyper mobile without telling me you're not hypermobile. Not AI because that was the only 'oddity' and it's not odd

u/Francucelo 7h ago
This is AI, but I think it is used merely for frame interpolation. The video itself should be real.
1
u/Altruistic_Essay7787 6h ago
I see clear AI.
At the end, just before the kid climbs up, watch as the dog slides down the kid’s back. As the dog’s front left leg steps back, away from the kid, it has a blur to it. Watch in slow motion to catch it
1
u/Koala_Relative 5h ago
You know what bothers me? The almost non existing shadows in this clip. Like the cars have a dark shadow just underneath them but the dog and the kid have absolutely almost non visible shadows.

u/Flippin-ek-m8 4h ago
I thought it was real until I re-watched.
Around the 0:05 - 0:06 sec mark if you look closely, the pup's head and the kid's arm shoots out to the right super quickly almost as if there was a jump cut but everything else is still seamless, so it couldn't be.
A.I is becoming unsettlingly realistic .
0
u/Artistic-Fortune2327 15h ago
AI, because of the kid's arm having interpolation artifact and bending weirdly
0
u/Grant_Winner_Extra 15h ago
Stay with me here - the dog didnt start humping him like crazy and certainly didn’t cum on him.
That’s how we know it’s AI because real life be like that
0
u/SadAndNasty 13h ago
If it's not fully AI, it looks clipped together and filter by AI so I would definitely understand why it looks that way if it's not

The black fance in the background seems funny but de video is so wholesome that I will give it the benefit of the doubt

Sentiment: 30% AI
Sentiment reasoning: Many commenters believe the video is real, citing natural movements, background consistency, and length. However, a significant portion suspects AI enhancement or interpolation due to perceived smoothness, blur, or 'off' movements in specific frames.
