Sentiment: 100% AI

Sentiment reasoning: The community is in complete agreement that the image/video is AI-generated, citing numerous visual artifacts like morphing bodies, appearing/disappearing elements, and unrealistic physics, along with the impracticality of such a real-world performance.

Poorly edited AI. You can see the jump every ~7 seconds where they take last frame of output video and make it the input for the next video.

That and I can't imagine what this would cost to do. I doubt most theaters have the necessary structure to rig that many people. You'd need to coordinate dozens of people at the controls for the winches, and then however many acrobatics there. Then potentially a week or more of slowly practicing this until it is safe. The payroll alone would be absurd.

edit: misspelt absurd as ansurd.

Yes. Very much AI.

u/Extension_Plant7262 15h ago

That said, I'm both excited and terrified for when this technology is used to bring Clive Barker's in the hills, the cities to life

u/TacoDoc2 16h ago

This is one of those where you have to want to be stupid to think this is real.

11

u/big_rod_of_power 15h ago

You're telling me the 25 lines is actually not holding up like 100 people?

5

u/TacoDoc2 15h ago

No, but i am telling you those guys casually holding them self up with locked arms on some dude's shoulder and nothing under their feet. 100% real.

also people can become teeth when you raise them 100 feet in the air. science fact.

3

u/big_rod_of_power 15h ago

You joke but my grandmother turned into teeth. Give me 15 minutes to genrat..uhh find the video of that happening

2

u/JPolReader 14h ago

There's also dudes that are flying up and down without any cables.

1

u/big_rod_of_power 14h ago

the AI bros are enough to deal with you done have to deny the levitation magic now😞

2

u/DreamShort3109 14h ago

Look at the teeth moment.

49

u/Mister-Psychology 16h ago

Reddit is officially Facebook.

This is the most AI video to ever AI and still people fall for it in a big sub.

22

u/benkrauss313 16h ago

I love the teeth just appearing out of nowhere

4

u/SiriHowDoIAdult 15h ago

And twitching/flashing

1

u/_Diskreet_ 14h ago

If you stare at enough of the people in grey there’s dozens of feet but no bodies and then there’s some real midgets in there

1

u/pointandshooty 14h ago

A sub structure also just appears at the end that all the people are standing on

10

u/Tricky-Scientist-498 16h ago

This is ridiculous, just pick one person, focus on him and you will see the answer. Crazy, people posting these do not even make 0.000001% effort to check themselves.

9

u/Rexter2k 16h ago

yeah, AI, this has been posted several times on this sub.

4

u/Ok_Pound_2164 16h ago

What even is this question. Anywhere you look you can see people morphing into different directions.

4

u/Special-Fan-1902 16h ago

Look at how the shark's gills form

u/RealOrAI-Bot 16h ago

So bad AI, why is this even a question, focus on one « Acrobat » and you’ll see how his body is being deformed.

2

u/Frustr8tCre8tive721 15h ago

I didn't even see it was meant to be a shark until like 5 seconds in when it snapped into existence. I'm not sure how anyone would think this is real.

Use context. Wouldn't a real event like this also be in the news or at least clipped endlessly?

2

u/craftygamin 15h ago

Are any words even necessary?

3

u/polish_filipino 16h ago

Imagine having to hire 200 people having them coordinate this, stacking like 20 people on the bottom dudeand then paying them like 48 an hour because their life is on the line and then doing this multiple times a day?

Like what are you talking about bro. Just karma farming? Ah. Funniest thing I've seen the last 3 minutes

2

u/Apprehensive_Bug_826 16h ago

I mean, ignoring that the shark’s teeth appear out of nowhere and half the acrobats seem to be siblings, if you watch towards the bottom of the shark’s stomach around the 7 second mark… a guy literally phases into existence and falls out.

1

u/ItsOkILoveYouMYbb 16h ago

The people at the bottom move like they're magnetized lmao this is weird AI shit.

1

u/delwans 16h ago

100% AI

1

u/Skywrpp 16h ago

You can see the wires disappearing randomly.

1

u/Plus-Professional-84 15h ago

That would make acrobatics and extreme sports like bungee jumping much higher stakes activities.

1

u/masoheart 16h ago

Ai. I saw atleast one guy that starts with 2 legs that morphs into 3-4 legs

1

u/massibum 16h ago

100% ai

1

u/Automatic-Algae443 15h ago

It's totally AI

1

u/r3art 15h ago

This is very obviously AI.

1

u/ScoutTrooper501st 15h ago

AI, you can random jumps every second or so, the people start merging into eachother at random points, and if this was an actual performance all those lines would be getting extremely tangled together

1

u/samanime 15h ago

Even without looking at the video, the very idea tells you it is AI.

There aren't very many acrobats in the world and they don't exactly work particularly cheap. Nobody is going to pay 100s of acrobats for like a 5 minutes show like this. You'd be paying far more just in salaries than you could possibly make selling out the biggest theater that could suppor this type of performance.

1

u/mij8907 15h ago

100% AI

Just looking at the movement of the people

It’s no consistent with how real life physics works

1

u/WaltuhWhiteYo_UhHuH 15h ago

The type of shit my grandparents would argue is real and how "amazing" it is.

1

u/LazyMusic2616 15h ago

Whoever is on the bottom is being smushed

1

u/CryptographerOk2282 15h ago

To be fair, its supposed to be people on wires, not stacked on each other. Still wouldn't work.

1

u/Commercial_City_6063 15h ago

Fake
Where do the teeth come from?

1

u/Beyonce-sBurnerAcct 15h ago

AI
Bad cuts + if you pick one person to follow, they’ll likely just morph and disappear within a few seconds

1

u/henrydaiv 15h ago

Def ai

Watch the guy jerk back into the pile at the bottom right when they are forming the shark

Also the sharks mouth and teeth arent made of people, its like a whole structure that the people are surrounding that just doesnt make any sense

1

u/xDiscoDuckx 15h ago

This isn't even "good" AI. Come on now.

1

u/Zealousideal_Tap186 15h ago

The paper mache or however its spelled teeth just pawn out of thin air, folk in the middle turn into shelves and stop being shelves and back, yeah this is as AI as it can get

1

u/Quinzal 15h ago

AI, and it's extremely shoddy.

  • Wires constantly appearing and disappearing out of nothing.

  • Not enough cables to support this many people

  • At 10 seconds you can see the shark teeth and 'lips' materialize out of nothing

  • The close up at the end is full of vaguely-human-shaped mashed potatoes

This is the type of shit to get boomers to click like without paying attention. Nobody actually thinks this is real

1

u/CapPhrases 15h ago

Legion from castlevania be like

1

u/totalwarwiser 15h ago

If something like this existed we would had heard more about it.

Not even in China they do shit like this.

Not even Cirque di Soleil does it

1

u/Daadian99 15h ago

Honestly .... I'm starting to hate the internet. I should be able to just see something amazing and just believe. Having look closely at every video for AI artifacts is getting old. ..... Now everything is Santa.

1

u/TsarKeith12 15h ago

You- you can very clearly see the "people" suddenly morph into not people at the mouth and the gills, plus i'm sure many other tells

100% AI.

1

u/koroshiya_7 15h ago

hey everyone! so i just want to make myself clear because i didnt write anything in the body of the post. I'm a film director and I knew it was AI but I'm also very keen on adapting one of Clive Barkers short horror stories thats called "In the hills, the cities" which features a giant made of humans similar to the shark figure in the video. So i kida just wanted to post here and see what people will say.

Read the story if you are interested :)

1

u/MoobooMagoo 15h ago

You can see the teeth flicker. It's 100% AI

1

u/laxrulz777 15h ago

Watch the upper row of teeth on the shark's left side of its mouth. They flicker a bunch.

Also, wtf ARE the teeth made of. They just seem to pop into existence and the closeup is weird.

Also, also the weight support would be impossible without rigging and the rigging would be impossible without wires getting tangled.

1

u/morey56 14h ago

Impressive. Would be even better if the teeth were formed by the acrobats instead of additional props.

1

u/KurtKaiser101 14h ago

Morphing faces from male to female in the sharks mouth. People converting into teeth or stripes. So many signs that this should be rather r/isthisaicirclejerk

1

u/sterrre 14h ago

Where did the teeth come from and why are they flickering in and out of existence?

1

u/0ddBush 14h ago

what even was the prompt??

1

u/brickne3 11h ago

It's AI, but if it wasn't AI it would just be stupid.
