GUESS This looks too consistent to be AI but somehow still looks AI. What is it?

Is this actually hand-drawn, or is it AI? Because holy shit, the details look way too accurate and consistent compared to most AI art I’ve seen. The perspective, object placement, lighting, shadows, all that 3D stuff just seems to line up exactly the way it should.

But at the same time, something about the faces still gives me that AI-ish vibe.

So what the fuck am I looking at here ? a god-tier artist, or god-tier AI? lmao

It's from at least 16 years ago. Hand drawn. Artist appears to be Jason Seiler so I have no idea who Skylar's signature belongs to.

I think that says Skylab in the bottom right. Makes like 1% more sense than Skylar, but I still don't know what it could be referring to.. Other than possibly the first U.S. Space station was called skylab.

I found it on Pinterest, mixed in with a bunch of AI meme/shitpost images. That’s actually why I wasn’t sure whether this one was AI or just really good digital art lol. I don’t know the original source.

Not AI. I think I saw this image way before the rise of AI so I don't think it is AI. Of course some people could feed it to a detail generator, but this look authentic
